Way to pass the buck W :rolleyes:. As if he couldn't get any changes made while he had a republican congress - the writing was pretty much on the wall at that point, they've been forecasting that this recession would happen for quite some time.

And he brought up ANWR drilling as a solution again. :rolleyes:

oh yeah, that's right :rolleyes:

Asked if he was premature in saying the economy is not in a recession, Bush said "the average person doesn't really care what we call it."

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I'm in one of those moods today.

He is such a douche bag. I was yelling at the TV this morning as I watched him talk. I like how he wants to blame congress for "tying his hands".

Warren Buffett is not optimistic about our current state of events.

It's getting better all the time!

I'd be optimistic, too, if I was a billionaire! :)

Sigh

Bush blaming Congress for the state of the country is like PC blaming MAC for Vista not working! :D

Just as everyone starts to think GW finally understands the word recession and how dire everything is, he gives that ridiculous speech and everyone has to sit back down and start over.

but he's not optimistic, even though he's not feeling the pinch. I couldn't imagine being that rich.

Somehow I managed not to read the not. :o

Honestly, if it wasn't so sad, it'd almost be laughable that Bush is that out of touch. He clearly has no idea what it's like out here in the real world. This is the most concerned I've been in my life about the economy. I feel kind of helpless.

And I really don't think spending my tax bonus on crap is the answer.

Ah, did a reporter tell Bush about the cost of milk and gas (again)?
