Uh oh! (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/rumors/post/Benny-The-Bull-gets-sued-for-high-five-gone-awry?urn=nba,78362)

I thought this story was sort of funny. :)

But Kalant, an oral surgeon, may now wish he had settled for a fist-bump instead. Instead of merely slapping Kalant's palm, Anderson grabbed his arm as he fell forward, hyperextending Kalant's arm and rupturing his biceps muscle, according to the lawsuit filed in Cook County Circuit Court.

I can't believe the guy is actually suing after he stayed and watched the rest of the game!!!

So whadya think? Would you sue if the guy fell and you got hurt?

It seems like an honest mistake, but if the dentist can't work and isn't salaried (as in he owns his own business) then I can understand being miffed over that lost money... but...

I don't know, honestly.

This is the part that gets me. If he was really all that injured, he should have spoken up immediately, and the team probably would have taken care of him. The fact that he was fine enough to watch the game, go home, and *then* decide to sue sounds fishy to me. But maybe I'm just jaded because people are so overly sue-happy...

That's what bugged me, too. How do they know he didn't get hurt later on in the game?

I thought you meant this (http://www.playfulplushtoys.com/miva/graphics/00000001/dorabenny.jpg) one. My daughter would have been crushed to find out Dora's favorite bull was getting sued.

Notice in the picture that he's a fan of the high-five as well ;)
