I am constantly getting IMs saying that someone is logged into another computer with my username/password. I've changed my password a few times and it still happens. Is there any way to resolve this, or is it just something I'll have to live with?

I keep getting this too. I have DSL and we keep our connection on all the time. I always get the message at work, so I wonder if it is getting the single from my home computer...like if the computer gets woken up out of sleep mode by one of the cats making a ruckas, etc...

Do you log on at work and at home? It would do it then.

AIM sucks. Use Yahoo, much better.

This has happened to me, and it's usually when there is some kind of interruption in my cable connection or my vpn connection. I work at home now, so the first time it happened, I went running into my bedroom and checked the computer... then I changed my password. When I finally made the connection with my vpn (mostly), I just enter the "1" and move on.

This happens to me occasionally and I know for a fact I am not logged on at another location. I just keep trying until it lets me.
You could also try getting onto AIM through Trillian. Trillian combines all the chats into one program so that you don't have to keep multiple windows open.

The thing is, I'm only logged in at home... I never log in anywhere else. I have two accounts, and it happens with both of them.
I do use Trillian! I love it.
I get the same thing from my MSN account. It annoys me and when I catch it, I relog back in, but I don't think someone is logging in as me - heck, only 3 people even KNOW my MSN
