My son plays "Elmo" (seasmeworkshop.com) all the time, and i feel like he is getting bored with it (as am I) He can play all by himself (from opening it through the bookmarks tab to playing the actual games). Are there any other websites along these lines that he could play? We tried nick jr. or something (with dora and the wiggles) but that seemed too advanced for him.

Any other suggestions? (my husband bought some computer games, but they are waaay too advanced (cars and a 1st grade learning game).

TIA!

for my 3 yo DD, we got to fisher-price.com and candyland.com. At fisher price (in fun & family tab there's an online game section) she can play an animal game and an alphabet game by herself - we're usually in there with her anyway though. she got the candyland castle game for x-mas and you can also play it online. that we help her with since you have to drag the shapes and she can't do that yet, otherwise she does the rest by her self. I'm anxious to see if anyone else has any suggestions as well!

Have you tried Noggin (http://www.noggin.com/)? It's by Nick Jr. for preschoolers.

The only games we have found that my DD can play are on sesamestreet.com - not just Elmo but there is a Telly one and one about numbers that she can do.

Our problem is that she can't use the mouse yet. I'd be interested to know if anyone else has suggestions for games that use the keyboard only. I did find a game on the Scooby Doo website where you move Scooby using the arrow keys.

As far as websites- another thing my DD loves to do is watch videos on youtube. You can find clips of just about any character you can imagine. She also loves "writing e-mail"- we just open Microsoft Word, make the font really big and pick a fun color, and then she types away at her letters for ages. Afterwards she prints out what she wrote.

My 2 yo is currently all about Clifford the Big Red Dog on www.pbskids.com. There are a few games there that he plays by himself - he loves the scavenger hunt game. There are games for other PBS characters - Curious George, Barney, Big Bird, etc.

We love http://www.poissonrouge.com/. It's such a beautiful site, and very intuitive for younger children. I also like that it doesn't have any "characters."
