I taught children with Autism for a few years.
I'm very aware of stimming, however I've never seen it in a child who does not have Autism/PDD.
However yesterday I spent time with a friend and her child--who seemed to be stimming throughout our play date.
Does anyone have any links or info on this for me?

ETA: I'm just interested for myself because of my profession...I don't plan on discussing this with said friend.
