DH's cousin's little girl turns 4 this week...and she has EVERYTHING. (Really, anything she would have wanted, she's already got - last year we went in with SIL to buy her a bouncy trampoline thing...just before she opened our gift, she opened a GIANT bouncy castle from their friends :p ). So anyway, I thought this year I would put together a bin of art supplies (she takes art lessons). Anyone know of any cool art supplies appropriate for a 4 yo? I was thinking of some (yes, I know, I'm an art teacher, I should know better, but was thinking maybe there are some things for young children out there I don't know about)
Shrinky Dink Paper
Punches (like the scrapbooking kind)
okay...that's all I've got! :D

Any other ideas?

Stockmar Crayons are supposed to be awesome for their deep pigmentation - they're made with beeswax.

She may already have this, but maybe an easel and a cute art smock?

Before I was a SAHM, I was an art teacher too:) We just went to a 4 yrs b-day and I got the birthday girl one of these:
Scrap-n-stuff umbrella (http://www.toyscamp.com/viewproduct.asp?productId=AL394W)
I'm a fan of clear umbrella's for kids because they're safer to walk with. My DD also got one of these umbrellas from the Easter Bunny and she has loved making little pictures to put in the stuffing slots.

For art supplies, I really like the Faber-Castell "young artist" sets. The supplies are grouped by medium and come in little carry totes. DD has the drawing set (http://www.amazon.com/Faber%252dCastell-Deluxe-50%252dpc%252e-Coloring-Kit/dp/B00005QI2U/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1206969819&sr=1-8), learn to paint set (http://www.growingtreetoys.com/product/7869), and the watercolor set (http://www.amazon.com/Faber%252dCastell-Watercolor-Art%252dTricks%2526-Techniques-Kit/dp/B00005QI2O/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1206969819&sr=1-14) and they keep her busy for hours.
