If you have your period that usually means you're not preggos. Are you saying you have a full brown period or you are just spotting?

mainly the reason i took it was to narrow down problems. And I didn't think i was but my friend said her sister had full regular periods the whole time she was preg so i thought what the hell. mainly i was abnormally moody, tired, sensitive to everything, just trying to decide what's going on.

I wouldn't think you'd get screwy results... I'd think that unless you're one of the very few who gets a full-blown AF while pg, you'd get the standard BFN.

There could be lots of reasons for your moodiness, fatigue and sensitivity... Maybe the hormones are just hitting you extra hard right now, maybe you're under stress in other areas of life or maybe you just are feeling particularly bitchy, tired and sensitive (which can also lead to more bitchiness) at this moment.

No, the HPTs measure the hormone hCG, which is no different during your period than any other time of the month. An HPT would be just as accurate during AF. Good luck.
