Ever step outside your fashion comfort zone and feel weird?

So, I'm sitting here at my desk in a new outfit that is "trendier" than I normally wear and I'm feeling weird. Have you ever had this happen or am I a bit too self-involved to think others notice what I wear? :o

For the first time ever, I am wearing a wide belt up on my natural waist with a button down shirt. I realize that doesn't sound too avant garde for some of you fashionistas but it's truly new territory for me. Similar to this but with a button down white shirt:

Is this look still "in" or am I (like usual) hitting the trend too late and look stupid?

The look is still in and you just have to get used to wearing it. It's normal to feel weird wearing something you're not used to wearing. :)
