I bought lasagna noodles and was about to start making it but then realized that they are regular noodles and not the 'no-boil' kind. Can I still just through them in the pan and layer with sauce and it turn out ok? Or do I need to boil them first?
I think you've got to boil them first.

I'd boil them.

Yep, you have to boil them. I've made lasagna rolls with those (I use the no boil kind for regular lasagna) and I just par-boiled them since they bake for awhile--I think 7-8 minutes or so?

I use regular skinner noodles with the recipe on the back of the box (virginia's easy lasagna). All you do is add 1 1/2 cups of water to your sauce.

I don't boil mine. Just add a little extra sauce and you will be good to go.

Thanks ladies! I think I'm going to par-boil them and then just add a little extra water and see what happens!

I've made lasagna with regular noodles before without boiling them first. As long as there's enough sauce in there, you should be fine.

I learned a trick from Barefoot Contessa:
Place noodles in a bowl of the hottest tap water you've got. Drain after 20 minutes. Works great!
