We are a group of women who for 1 reason or another want to shed a few (or more) lbs. We need the encouragement of others no matter their size or goal and we thrive in an atmosphere where we can all support one another.

We welcome one and all. It doesn't matter what diet you are on (if any) or how many miles a week you run (if any) we will all find lots of help and support here.

New person alert...
I need some accountability so I'm hoping by joining this thread, it'll help me stay focused. I rarely join group threads and lurk more than I post so this is a big step for me! I've battled my weight for what seems like is forever but have successfully lost weight before. We're looking at TTC #2 in the summer, but I really just want to be a healthier person.

Well I tried the detox thing this week that was posted in the last thread (thanks BumbleB!) I started it Friday and according to my home scale had lost 9.8# between Friday and last night. But, the scale at my TOPS meeting today said I was down 4.8# for the week (which I'll still take! :)) I think the differece is because I gained between Wed and Fri last week because I ate alot of salty/fatty foods, and AF should be starting either today or tomorrow. Hopefully I'll continue on a downward trend next week!

Well I had my meeting today and had a big shock! I did ok with my meals and such this week, but wasn't expecting this number! Didn't think I did that good! I do think that last week's gain was due to me retaining alot of water though (salty foods on Easter, and AF showed a couple days later) so that probably had something to do with the major difference this week.
