I want to start drinking grean tea to increase/improve fertile CM. The only problem is, I hate green tea. I only tried it once, a few years ago, but it was disgusting. Can anyone recommend a flavored version that will still have the intended effect?

Hi Shelby, one thing to keep in mind is green tea can be an acquired taste. I hated it when I first started drinking it too but in time I grew to really like it. That said, I believe Bigelow Teas has a peach green tea which I really liked, especially iced. They also had a combo pack with peach, lemon, plain and something else so you could see which one you like best, though I'm not sure they're decaf. Trader Joe's has good prices but not sure about flavors. And if you have a good tea shop near you you might just try getting some fresh tea leaves and asking them for instructions on how to properly brew it because that definitely makes a difference. Among other things you don't want to add boiling water - wait a minute or two after it has boiled. Good luck! I liked white tea too (and it definitely worked in the CM department) but that is even more of an acquired taste!

Different brands have different flavor qualities. Don't give up on it just because you tried an average/lower quality brand! I've found teas at Whole Foods and Trader Joes to be much better, and I've had good experienceswith tea from the brands Republic of Tea, Good Earth, Stash, and Tazo.
The thing to keep in mind is green tea is slightly bitter. I like to make iced tea with it in the summer, and you can do a couple tea bags of green and one or two of a fruity tea. That will help offset the bitterness, if you're used to drinking very sweet tea.
I hate regular green tea too. Lipton has a brand with Jasmine and something else(can't remember right now but if you need me to find out I can check next time I go to the store) that I love. I can drink it without sugar and everything (and that is BIG for me!) Hope that helps!

Personally I won't drink anything in a bag. Western green teas are horrible IMO. Spend the money and go for a really good quality (like Sencha) green tea. It will not be bitter or have a strange aftertaste. Loose tea leaves are the best. Actually the absolute BEST green tea I had was directly from China or Japan (I can't remember) and it was fresh. You can't get that in the US though.
Here is a link where you can get quality green teas:

I like to make green tea into iced tea. Currently the brand I have is:
7 Day Round - Jasmine Green Tea
It comes in this cute round container with a silver lid.

Mmmm... if you can find Yogi Green Tea (usually in the Organic part of the grocery), GET IT!! I have tried countless (nasty) green teas and this one is amazing!!!! I just add some honey, and it's so wonderful.
Good luck!

Question on this -- I went looking for Green tea in the supermarket, and all of the "interesting" sounding ones were not caffeine free. I understand the notion that caffeine dries you up, and is thus counterproductive...thoughts? It seems like some of the ones you are posting here are caffeinated. For those of you who did the green tea, did you only do decaf? (I am also going to post this in the other green tea thread, just in case).
