Now that the Super Bowl is over, next up...March Madness!!!

My Terps aren't anything to write home about this year (well, ok--the Lady Terps are doing well) but I thought I'd open this up for discussion. I'm interested in seeing who wins the Duke/NC game Wednesday night.

Duh - It's 2008...Could a mod or someone change the thread title to 2008?

LOVE LOVE LOVE College BBall. So far my Jayhawks are doing okay. The loss last week to K-State was not great, but still have high hopes for them in March.

Tonight they are playing Missouri which is their biggest rival!

eta Bobby Knight (Texas tech) has resigned as head coach. His son Pat will take over on coaching duties effective immediately.

Still basking in the Giants superbowl win...but almost ready to move on with my FULL attention to College Hoops!

My Badgers are looking good so far! We need to keep playing well and not have any bad road losses.

That's crazy about Bobby Knight! Up and leave in the middle of the season? Although I heard that his son has been doing most of the coaching lately anyway. Any Texas Tech fans out there to weigh in their opinion?

Looks like my Hoosiers may want to make a phone call to the recently-available Bobby Knight!!! I am SOOOOOO f*ing mad at Kelvin Sampson!! This is one of IU's best seasons in a long time, and up until last week a lot of people thought they had a real shot of going all the way this season. Now, I'm worried. We may have a different coach for our next game in 4 days. How does a team stay focused during all this?? What a stupid f*ing IDIOT!

BUT...on a positive note...

INDIANA BEATS PURDUE!!

DJ White is by far my favorite player for IU right now. Everyone loves Eric Gordan, but personally, I think he's going to get eaten alive in the NBA if he does indeed go pro next season like expected. He's great, don't get me wrong...but he's too sloppy right now. I think he needs another season to fine-tune. But DJ??? That boy is freaking great!! Love him!

Ok...so I'm a bit fired up about tonight's game...I'll stop now! :)

Yeah - I know :( My DH works in Temple athletics. My colleague says the loss is my fault since I didn't let DH go Denver :(

Hopefully the women's team will have more success this weekend (and DH will be at the game)
