Microwave/Toaster Oven Combo

Not sure where to put this. Hoping to get some replies.

We are thinking of buying a microwave/toaster oven combo. Need the toaster part since ours went up in flames Friday. :eek: Never knew these combos exsisted until I started searches for prices on toaster ovens.

The reviews on store sites have been mixed. I don't always trust those reviews anyway. Having this combo would be awesome for saving some counter space.

Any thoughts? Anyone have one?

We don't have one, but I would personally not get one just b/c we have found that "combo" items generally do both things "okay" but are not great at either thing they are supposed to be doing. Just my 2 cents.

My mom has one and to be honest IMO it is the biggest piece of JUNK!

Laura- you made a good point about combo things. Never thought of that.

Disneygirl- good to hear from someone who knows first hand.

Now I just have to talk DH out of it.
