Where to buy hospital scrubs/lab coat?

I hope someone can help. DH and I have a party to go to an the "theme" is General Hospital/medical. I need to buy some cheap scrubs or a lab coat for us to wear.

Any suggestions for an actual store or on-line? I'd rather not pay shipping if possible and get something really inexpensive since obviously we won't use them often. ;) I did a google search and there are a lot of places but if there are some medical personnel out there that have stores/websites they like, I'd love to hear about them!

I used to buy my scrubs at a uniform store. They usually have them close to hospitals. They are relatively inexpensive, depending on the brand. I used to buy Urbane Scrubs and loved them. I still wear the pants all the time. :)

If I remember correctly, the ones I bought were about $20 or so per piece. There are cheaper brands.

I get mine from www.allheart.com. They have some really cheap ones. Not sure how much S&H costs though. They are relatively quick (less than 1 week delivery time) and I haven't had any problems with them.

P.S. I believe Walmart carries scrubs too. Not sure of the price, but they probably aren't very expensive. ;)

I have seen scrubs at Wal-Mart, but not lab coats. Usually you have to go to a real scrub store. They aren't terribly cheap-from about $25-$35.

Is the $25-35 for the scrubs at Walmart or a lab coat elsewhere? I can skip the lab coat and just do scrubs.

I am not sure where you are located - but we have a scrubs and beyond store in a mall nearby....

I'm not sure where in MA you are but there is a scrubs store in Burlington, same street as the mall just down in a little strip mall.

I think there are also some places down near Longwood Medical Area!

I bought a nurse's dress for Halloween one year at a thrift shop, like Goodwill. They had lots of scrubs too, and you might find a lab coat. Other than that, they carry scrubs for $7 at our local Dollar General, Rose's, and other discount department stores.

I ended up getting 2 sets of scrubs and a stethoscope for $25 shipped. I found a $10 of $25 purchase coupon for allheart.com, which basically covered shipping.

I figured that was easier than running around to different local stores. The thrift store is a good idea too but I'm running out of time so I figured I'd better order today.
