Like at an actual blogging site (not like LJ or here on CC)?
I use blogspot, and have been having trouble uploading images. The past couple of times I've tried I choose the images to upload and the "your images are uploading" box comes up but nothing happens. I wait, and wait, and wait...still nothing.
I've even been so far as to auto batch my images so they are all resized for web viewing...that didn't help. As a last resort I tried to do only one images...same thing.
Grrr! Anyone know what the problem could be?

I have gone from Blogger --> Wordpress --> LJ. Each of the services has something that annoys me... but I hope to stay at LJ for a while.
Are you uploading direct to your computer from Blogger? Or are you using a photo hosting site? If you have a host, which one do you use? Flickr has a thing that you can blog your photos direct from there... does your photo host have something like that? I have never tried to upload pictures direct to Blogger (that option wasn't available when I used Blogger), but if it's just hanging, it might be a server issue with Blogger. You could try again tomorrow and see if it gets resolved.

Well since you counted out LJ then nope. I really like LJ though and the format it offers with comments and privacy. Also friend user groups. I like my privacy when I post mostly about my son.
I don't know what your issue could be would love to hear ideas. Everytime I try and put pics on myspace I get hung on the page and can't get further. It is very frustrating.

Thanks for the answers.
I actually do LJ, and use that as my journal which is friends only.
My blogger blog is primarily used for photography to keep people updated and sneak peaks before their stuff is ready. Its becoming more popular with photographers. I've had it for a while with no problems but all of a sudden the last two times I've tried to upload there has been a problem.
I am uploading from my computer, not a website.

Blogger is notoriously buggy. It's one of the reasons I dropped them.
Yeah, blogger is more of a PITA than wordpress, although wordpress isn't exactly ideal, either.

I use wordpress, but I don't upload my pictures with wordpress, I use flickr instead and just copy the code flickr provides.... I've never used blogspot, but I'm sure you could do this with them too!

Thanks for all the replies.
It sure is wonky. I would do them one at a time and it would upload one, I'd pick another and it wouldn't work. I'd have to close it out and try again. Finally I got everything I wanted uploaded but it was a huge PITA.

Just for travel on realtravel.com. I like how it resizes all your pics for you and places them around your post. You have less control but it looks nice overall.

I've been using Blogger for several months now and have never had any problems whatsoever. I upload pictures every time I post. (It's a family blog that we primarily use to keep our snowbird parents updated on our DDs, so there's lots of pictures of our girls).
FWIW, I think it's a great idea for a photographer to have a blog. We are researching photographers to take some candid family shots at the beach this coming summer, and the blogs have been very helpful for me to get a glimpse of various photographers' personalities, as well as view samples of their work. Here's the blog of the guy that shot one of my co-workers' weddings: http://www.jthrasherphoto.com/blog/

Winter Biscuit - That photographer has some amazing images - those images from the Greece wedding are beautiful.
I like the idea of photographers having blogs. Several area photographers blog, they usually post slideshows from sessions or a few pictures. Its great marketing in edition to their website because they also write in their posts and you get to know their personality - it is also fun for clients to check the post and get a sneak peak of their images.

I work for a local studio, but I've recently submitted my application for the "Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep" organization to be a Bereavement photographer. Its something I've been thinking about for a while to volunteer my time. Photographers on the list are called to go to the hospital and provide parents who have just lost (or will lose) their child, usually babies, and provide a free session so they have images to to keep. Its a free service, totally volunteer and the photographer provides the family with a disk of images to keep and print from.
I decided to update my blog with some past shoots because I have to be approved when they see some of my sample work. I don't ever post of my shoots that I do through the studio on my personal blog - so I was starting to get irritated when I couldn't get it to work. Luckily its all updated and I'm just waiting on approval.
