{sigh} I know I'm going to get flamed for this but...

Number one, I believe the town's residents. I think they really did see something that wasn't a military aircraft.

The reason why is number two: shortly after moving out West, my XH and I saw...something weird flying in the sky. Its difficult to describe but basically, it was V-shaped and flew..floppy. I mean, the whole thing just seemed like it had no steel or anything of substance supporting it. I'm getting frustrated trying to explain it, but can picture it perfectly in my minds eye. Other than shape, it flew very low and was perfectly soundless, even when it was right over our heads. I'm here to tell you that I still believe, to this day, that what I saw that night was a UFO. Lets see, that was over ten years ago.
