This is just a bunch of babble....

:confused::rolleyes::confused::rolleyes:
Uh yeah he makes no sense what-so-ever. He's completly talking in circles and none of it is going anywhere.
"You're either on board or you're not on board .. it's just ... if you're on board then you're on board just like the rest of us."
Ummm .. on board what, Tom? The mothership to Crazytown?
"We're here to help". Help who!?!?

I do wish the Mothership would come and take him home already. The more he talks, the more tired of him we get . . .

All I have to say is...
:confused::eek::(:(:eek::confused:
All the acronyms, I'm so confused. Was he speaking english?
Whatevs. He's talking to other Scientologists. I have no beef with Tom or Scientology at the moment. If he wants to play "Good Samaritan" because of his beliefs - I don't care why, as long as he's doing something good.
The only time I get PO'd is when he publicly crusades against women like Brooke Shields regarding PPD. Just don't vote him into politics, that's all I have to say.

Whoa! That was .... um ... Well, I needed a good laugh today.
What the heck is a an "SP" and all the other acronyms he was throwing out there?
That guy SERIOUSLY needs help. I feel sorry for his kids.

Found this here (http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2008/01/-we-are-the-way.php)
Definitions:
*KSW (short for Keeping Scientology Working): A policy written by
Hubbard in the 1960's that requires all Scientologists to follow his
words and his rules exactly.
"Orgs: Orgs is an abbreviation for "organizations" and describes
all churches of Scientology throughout the world.
*David Miscavige: He is the current leader of Scientology.
He's the equivalent of the Pope to the Catholics.
*Out-ethics: any behavior that violates any of Hubbard's
rules of conduct.
*Put ethics in on someone else: make others conform
to Hubbard's rules of behavior.
*Criminon: Scientology front group that tries to recruit through the prisons.
* SP: Suppressive Person. Anyone that doesn't like Scientology and/or criticizes Scientology.
*PTS/SP: another bogus Hubbard term to define behavior that goes
against Scientology rules.
*LRH technology or "tech": all the Scientology policies, rules, mandates, procedures.
Basically everything Hubbard wrote that controls the behavior of Scientologists.

I find this religion hilarious! I guess it isn't that much weirder than any other religion. It's just that we were around when it started so we are more clued to the weirdness. I mean, it sounds totally crazy that personality problems are caused by the ghosts of invisible aliens, but is it really any stranger than getting written in the book of life for another year?

Ugh...I could only get about halfway through all that drivel.
SP = Suppressive Person in Scientology speak
Basically, Tom is saying no one dares tell him Scientology is a crock because he's too strong or powerful (or protected, is more like it)...he really believes that anyone opposed to him would wilt in his presence. Clearly, fame doesn't mean brains or true perspective.
I don't think we here at the CC should put people down for acronymns - BTW, FWIW, JHMO, KWIM?? :D WTF? hee hee

Hey, my cousin has put together not one, but two, that's right, two couples that have gotten and remain married, so she is in the book of life forever! :p

I couldn't get through the whole video because I was laughing too hard at this comment from the person who posted the video (bold mine):
These people are nuts. At one point he says something to the effect of, "when a Scientologist drives by an accident, we have to stop, because we know we're the only ones who can help". Um, or feel free to call 911. Because being trapped under a car and then seeing Tom Cruise run up is just about the most horrible mental image I've ever had. I would seriously just fake my own death at that point.
Priceless...

Southlooper, I thought that was hilarious too!!
Kari, LOL! Or should I say Laughing Out Loud!!!
I totally am for freedom of religion but this is just psycho babble, not religion. I didnt even realize how bad it was but I heard them reading Ron Hubbard on tv and it didn’t even make sense- it was gibberish! Some words didn’t even actually exist in the English language and the ones that did weren’t put together in a way that made any sense.
I don't want to put anyone down, but I just don't get how *anyone* could actually believe this and devote their lives to it. Its akin to a cult to me.
I just can't stand Tom Cruise! How could Katie Holmes actually fall for him? Don't you think her family is just devastated?

I will not put down a religion that I know practically nothing about....actually I won't put down any religion that helps people live a good and fulfilled life. Whatever makes a person feel good and helps them live their life in such a way that they feel they are making a difference and are happy, well, more power to them.
But, Tom Cruise is absolutely the most arrogant ASS in the world! No one better tell him Scientology is a crock, well, they won't because he is so superior???!! WTF is wrong with this man? If he actually believes he is the only person outside of L. Ron Hubbard that is leading a good, whole and productive life (I know LRH is dead....just making an analogy) then he has become so delusional that nothing can help him. Can you imagine, as his wife, asking him what he wants for dinner and then getting a 30 minute lecture on how you need to help feed the rest of the world or whatever??
I can honestly say this is one man i would never, ever, in a million years want to talk to or be around. And you know what, HE'S RIGHT, I wouldn't challenge Scientology around him because I would be trapped in a 3 hour lecture on it and would get such massive tiredhead that I would just give up and join the religion just to get away from him.
It's always easy to be self-righteous and self-important when the nanny is wiping the sucker off your child's face while the maid is finishing taking the garbage out and your driver just pulled up to take you to your appt. with your personal trainer.

When I'm talking to a person though I generally say "know what I mean" "in my opinion" "by the way"....not the acronymn. Reading it is one thing for me but if someone came at me talking in letters I'd have a hard time following along.

Ok, I am going to ber VERY careful about what I say here, becasue frankly, these people scare the shit out of me. PLEASE read and learn about Scientology. It is very important that you are aware of what they are teaching and if you know anyone involved with them, please get them help. This is not a joke. I am totaly freaking scared of these people and if someone came up to me and told me they were a scientologist, I would, quite rightly, run the other ****ing way!!!!!

I read on my usual gossip site yesterday that it keeps getting taken off and being replaced just as quickly. If you try searching YouTube, you should be able to find it again.

Look at this quote at the top of this page: http://www.xenu.net/roland-intro.html
How can anyone take this man seriously??? He was a science fiction writer and made a religion for MONEY!
That is really it now. I better shut up. I really could go on and on. I just feel I need to get people aware of this. I educated myself on this subject quite a few years ago and I think others should too, so family and friends do not get involved with this.

I remember hearing a story about how Mike Farrell (BJ on MASH) had been involved in making a TV movie dealing with cults, and somehow got on Scientology's radar screen. I think he even agreed to meet with somebody from Scientology to be fair (he was working with the Cult Awareness Network), and came out of it publicly saying these people were nuts.
So then he started getting all these harassing phone calls, including one that told him (falsely) that a friend of his had been killed. It got to the point where, if the phone rang after midnight, he'd pick it up and immediately say, "Hubbard was crazy."
These people are whacked. Thoroughly, utterly whacked.

I didn't see the video, but it could be that Tom is just a whack job and the rest of the Scientologists are ... "normal."
I mean, there are the fanatics in every religion. There are some nutty Catholics out there, but I'd like to think I'm pretty normal. ;) I think TC is just a bad "spokesperson" for Scientology.
There are actually a lot of celebs in that religion - Beck, Leah Remini, Travolta and his wife, isn't Jada Pinkett Smith? They seem normal...
I guess I just don't know enough about the religion to say he's crazy because of the religion. he could just be a nut! :)

Really? Scientologists believe that the ghosts of dead aliens killed in an intergalactic holocaust keep you from achieving your goals. I think even a great spokesperson might have a hard time spinning that one. I don’t know why so many celebrities are into it. Some people think they are blackmailed into it. But certainly celebrities are into all kinds of weird religions. I think they don’t have very good reality markers.

I don't know, none of them seem particularly normal to me. Unless "normal" means not getting any treatment or therapy for your autistic son in the case of the Travoltas.

Didn't L. Ron himself come out and say that his whole idea of Scientology was a big sham, and he just did it to see if people would buy into it? I seem to recall reading that in the past....
The whole idea of Scientology is so laughable.

Yes, indeed he did and even though he forbid his followers from using Psychiatric medicines, he himself was taking them!!! He was a hyprocrit and a liar and I won't say the "C" word here, but it definelty is the "C" word and not a religion.
