i am in the process of ordering photos from the online photo site where i store my digital pics. i want to organize them into albums and i want to make sure i get some good quality ones so they last a long time. does anyone have any recommendations? i usually just buy random ones at target but i am not sure if they will really hold up over time. i will probably need about 10 and i'd like them to be matching if possible. i really have no idea where to look!

I like kolo albums/products. That's what I got for my wedding pics. I don't have any other albums, so I might not be the best suggester.

To protect your photos for a long time you might want to think about archival photos. The best ones for that are the albulms that you slide the photo into a sleeve on the page. The ones that have a sticky back and a clear page overlay are really bad for your pictures.

I do a lot of geneaolgy research and buy my stuff from archivalusa.com if that helps.

thanks for the replies...i definitely want ones where i slide the pics into sleeves, i had my high school and a lot of college photos in the sticky albums and they are all falling out now, or the pages turned brown (15+ years old). also some of the pages where i had slid pics into ripped down the middle so i need to make sure to get strong plastic.

i will look into the ones you posted!

Here's a trick if you have the albulms that have the sticky back and the pictures are STUCK to the page. Take tephlon dental floss and sloowly glide it between the picture and the page. It might come up a little curved but at least it will be in one piece.

Happy hunting.
