OK, I realize that this is sad, but honestly I could not stop laughing at this as I read through the article. Especially the mental picture of the robed and bearded priests hitting each other with brooms.

I know the history of this particular church is filled with similar events and that there are serious religious disagreements among the groups that 'manage' the church.

But oh, the irony, especially at this time of year!

Okay, I must be really out of it! At first I read this as "Priests BAWL [not BRAWL] at Bethlehem" and then I thought it sounded kind of mean that you found it funny that a bunch of priests were weeping at the birthplace of Jesus!

I would expect priests to get a little emotional over the birth of Jesus!
