I have a newborn who keeps me up most of the night. She eats about every 2 1/2 to 3 hours and I don't make my husband get up b/c he works all day. So I only get about 2-3 hours of sleep at a time and nap during the day. I'm ready to get back into shape, but I'm afraid I'm too tired to get enough exercise. Specifically I want to do spinning classes, but they are very high intensity. For those of you with children who have found time to exercise how did you fit it in and keep up your energy level?

I found my energy level was higher when I exercised than when I didn't, regardless of my overall lack of sleep. I am a runner and so after I got the ok at my 6 wk PP check up, I started running w/my DD.
Often I had to really talk myself into doing it since I was so dog tired, but by the end of the run I always felt better than when I started.
Beyond the mental aspect, as far as physical energy is concerned, be sure to eat well and snack often (especially if you are BFing).
