We got one from ILs for Christmas and we absolutely love it! When we first got it, we made a TON of whipped cream. We put the ingredients for scrambled eggs in it... much easier than mixing by hand...
Oh we tried making "peanut butter" in it, but that didn't work too well and besides it tasted gross LOL...
We've made milkshakes as well...
I don't think we've actually made anything from the book except the whipped cream LOL

I got mine for Christmas and loooooovvveeee it. I used it a lot to puree food for my baby!! I have too made whipped cream (lol make sure you use the right blade or you'll get butter). Smoothies are so fast in the bullet too.

It's kind of like a mini chopper/blender/food processor. When I get home from work I'll find and post a link. The main selling point is that it's small, so you can blend, say, 1 person's smoothie, serve it to them in the very glass you blend it in, then swap out a clean new glass to make another person's different-flavored smoothie.
It is also the star of a riveting, entertaining infomercial that features a disgruntled neighbor in a housecoat smoking a cigarette.
I have wanted one for years, and I think I will finally get one this year after DH saw the beauty in only having 1 dish to wash when I make smoothies vs 2 (blender cup and my drinking cup).

http://www.buythebullet.com/images/nav/sidenav_offer.jpg . It is soo nice only one dish to clean unlike my hand blend where you have to clean it & the bowl. With the MB all you do is pop it in the dishwasher! I love it :)

Here is a link to the website. I actually bought mine at Kohls it didn't come with the blender/juicer but it was ALOT cheaper than buying it on line. I paid $60 for it.

I LOVE THE MAGIC BULLET!! DH and I always watch the infomercial LOL
I got home last week and the magic bullet had been delivered. hubby wanted to suprise me and ordered it. I chopped onions (NO TEARS!) up in it yesterday for Tuna sandwiches but I keep wanting to make smoothies in it. I have a quesadilla maker and I can't wait to use the MB to chop up the cheese and everything to make a yummy quesadilla.
If anyone has any great recipes let me know! :)

I just had to quickly jump in... all I can say is I am SO glad to find other people that have seen this infomercial. I was trying to explain it to my friend (the part with the woman wearing curlers and smoking, and just the overall ridiculousness of the whole thing), and she just thought I was NUTS. When my son was a newborn, I can't even tell you how many times I sat through this thing at 2am.
Glad to hear it actually works!

I finally got to buy one today. We just received a wedding present a few weeks ago and it was a duplicate. Well I wanted to return it and get a gift card. Well Target only keeps your registry for 6 months(we got married in January) so we had to go look for something to exchange. Well DH and I looked around for 30 mintues and could not find anything..... until we rounded a corner and there among all the infomercial items was the Magic Bullet!! I have also watched these commercials forever. I finally got one. I wanted to come home and make something but I was too lazy. Is it not just the best thing ever.

I got one for Christmas and I love it!! I found an awesome way to make garlic bread with it.
1 or 2 cloves of garlic
1 or 2 tsp olive oil
half a stck of butter
parmesan cheese
a shake or 2 of parsley, basil, oregano, rosemary
mozzerella
put it all in the bullet except mozzerella for a few seconds, cut a loaf of bread almost all the way through in slices, spread on each piece, sprinkle mozzerella belweet each piece, wrap in fiol and bake at a 350 for about 15 minutes. Excellent!
I also put about half an onion in and puree and put in mashed potatoes while cooking, delicious!

I have one. I have tried to make several of the recipes and most did not come out like I hoped. I tried to make the salsa once and the guacamole. Both came out horrible. However I did make the chocolate mousse recipe and it was great. Its just whipping cream and chocolate syrup. I also use it to make a smoothie- frozen strawberries, milk, splenda, , and ice. Very easy and really good. I have the book that came with it and I want to try some of the other recipes. I know I was not much help. But I know at one time there was a thread about this. Ill try and find it for you.

Okay...I tried to grate marble cheese in mine on the weekend and it turned out as mush! I followed the directions to a T. It says it will grate cheese but I don't think it works...

If you don't already have it, I would not recommend buying one. I just threw mine away! Buy a blender -- it can handle liquids much better. I tried doing soup in it, then applesauce and it made SUCH a mess!

I just broke my mom's magic bullet!!!! She let me borrow it to make smoothies while I am PG. Immediately after I started running it it started to smoke. I took the cup off of the base and the plastic gear thingie on the base had melted!! Did this happen to anyone else?
