I drew SIL in our secret santa exchange. We set a $40 limit. I've been trying to figure out what to get her and finally did this morning. She loves to bake, especially cheesecakes.

I ordered her a cheesecake cookbook, a new pan and have a few bucks left to get her one final thing. I thought about new measuring spoons or something, but didn't know if there was another 'tool' that always comes in handy when baking a cheesecake.

Would love any ideas!!!

Thanks! :D

GC to the grocery store to buy supplies? Maybe put it in a cream cheese box.

that's a really good idea!

i was actually thinking after i posted this that maybe i would just buy her some cream cheese and wrap that and have her open that first.
hmm...

thanks!

Does she like chocolate? You could get her some shmancy baking chocolate, like Callebaut or Scharffen Berger. Or maybe look for mini cheesecake pans--those are cute and not too $$.

Maybe a really nice bottle of vanilla extract? (like Penzey's double-strength).

What about aluminum foil so she can do a water bath for the cheesecake?

LOL, I think wrapped up cream cheese is fantastic!
