So, what did we miss (MBFPs) and what updates do we need to make?

Congrats Julss!!!
TM - can you please move me 1DPO?
According to FF I Oed on CD10 and *think* we covered our bases (DTD CDs 8,10,12)
Believe me I am not one to get my hopes up to quickly, but thought any of you pet lovers would like to see this. Thoughts?!
This might sound funny to you without pets... Just some quick background - Wriglee (my male dog) I think knew exactly when I got pregnant last time, I also can tell you within hours of when Junebug died because of his reactions to me, and then he knew when Junebug was gone (post d&c). He knew that I was "unstable" and would not leave my side. I am wondering if something is "going on" because he was back to being very clingy last night - and didn't want anything to do with Brian, but me only. Interesting?!?

Thanks for the congrats, ladies!
For those who didn't know, I got a BFP on Jan. 2 as well. I have an ultrasound on Jan. 17 (part of the study I'm in-I get it for FREE!!), so I think I would like to be moved to waiting to graduate until then. I had my previous miscarriage shortly before 6wks, so I will feel more comfortable after that. I don't have a dr's appt. until Feb. 14.
Congrats to you, Julss!!! We'll be in the September group with Eric's Wife!!

Congrats Julss and Taylandra! H&H 9 months!
TM=Please move me to waiting to O when you can make changes again. I'm CD3 today and begin Clomid on Monday! :D
I am so glad we're back. I missed this group tremendously. WOW, it was like I went through withdrawl.
Juls and Taylandra, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Happy and Healthy 9 months to you both and wishing lots of sticky vibes.
Me- right before CC went down, I had posted about my very low progesterone results. I finally spoke with my doctor who (not surprisingly) prescribed clomid, which I will start next cycle, days 3-7. I am not sure what dosage because it is coming in the mail.
He also said that I could wait a few months and do more progesterone testing each month to make sure this is not a one off problem. He told me it was up to me. I am 5 DPO today, so I said that I would go in this month (it would be unmedicated) and then start clomid next month. We have been trying for 6 months, I'm 33, and all my months have been with the help of a FM, OPK or charting, so BD has been well timed. Am I being silly to be so eager to start clomid? It is just that my tests from last month (with the super low progesterone reading of 4.2) was probably my most "textbook" cycle so far, and I am just anxious to get this party started, if you know what I mean?!?
Tm-can you please move me to waiting to testing Jan. 13 Although, I may just wait for AF to show since am pretty sure that it isn't going to happen this month because of the progesterone. The silver lining of the low progesterone is that I am not that anxious or crazy during this 2ww.
Wishing the best of luck to all those testing and BDing, hope you catch your eggs!
Sorry for the novel, I just missed everyone and wanted to catch up. If for some reason CC goes down again, I finally signed up for a LJ account and I am chi_03 over there (I know, really original).

Welcome A-lo! Hope your stay is short and sweet.
Good luck to everyone else testing or Oing soon!
We had our first u/s on Wednesday 1/2. Things looked good, baby measured 4mm and had a heart rate of 115. I was going to graduate then if the boards would have been up but I'm having a bit of spotting today and yesterday so I think I'll hang around until my next u/s on 1/16 if that's ok, just to be sure things still look good.

Okay I think I will join! I'm sort of in between Seeing What Happens and Charting. DH and I aren't actively TTC until February but I am charting my first cycle off BCP to see what's going on. That being said we have been DTD without protection during my fertile time and we'd be happy with a BFP so that's about it!

Hello, Everyone! I'm SOOOO glad CC is back Up!
I was away for the weekend and just got home and decided to see if it came back up :)
I tested on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. All were BFN :( I'm Soooo bummed. My DH really thought this was it for us and I had high hopes. We did injections/trigger/timed BD and progesterone.
I stopped the progesterone this weekend now I just have to wait for it to make it's way out of my system and then for AF to start.
But ... congrats to Julss & Taylandra! H&H to you both! What a way to start off the new year!

Sorry to the ladies who had recent BFNs.
DH and I are gearing up for our BDing. DH grandfather is dying and will likely not live through the week, so I don't know how that emotional stress will play into everything.
My temps are in general lower than normal, but I got a new battery in my thermometer, so I am wondering of that is the culprit.

WelcomeA-lo and KRL!
I just did a check of the first page and noticed that Sea isn’t listed. I also noticed that I have been here a LONG time. I didn’t realize how many of the members that joined after me had already graduated. So much for my theory of an early O this month. I think another sinus infection got in the way so hopefully I’ll O soon.

I did not have time for SO's I will this after noon.
Quick help please, this is crazy but I think I'm O'ing really soon. I'm only on cd9 and I normally O on cd 14 or later, sometimes 16. I've had really creamy CM for the past two days and this morning I just felt exteremly wet before I got out of bed. I tried to check my CM and I think it was watery. Okay, we had sex yesterday afternoon. Would the excess semen already be discharged from my body by this morning? I'm just trying to figure out if it was semen or watery CM. I don't remember the difference. Welp, it would be banana's but I could O tomorrow, so keep your fingers crossed for us. We'll try to cover our bases though. And if you want to check out my chart. My temps are sorta high for pre-O. I'm trying to now think about, but it's in mind that maybe I have cyst again, being the high temps. See what you think! Have a good day, any help at all would be appreciated!

My first doctor's appt. is the 14th to do some lab work and then at that appt. they'll schedule me for an ultrasound at a later time. Thought about going to the walk-in clinic for a speedy blood test but think I'll wait for my doctor's appt. to save myself an extra co-pay charge;). You guys are the best.....thank you all so much! I actually had some signs of my CM moving toward the fertile side, and I usually O on day 12, so maybe we will be ok this month!
Minday2137 I am an early O'er, usually day 12. I would BD to cover your bases, because to me it sounds like you are going to O. Day 9 is usually when I start seeing the start of fertile CM.
KRL626
01-08-2008, 04:32 AM
Does anyone agree with me that FF has my O date wrong? I didn't get to start temping until we got back from vacation so I didn't have as many entered as I should have to get a correct coverline. Do the dashed crosshairs mean they might change it?
melandtim
01-08-2008, 05:07 AM
KRL - the dashed coverlines mean that they aren't sure if that is the correct O date. Most likely due to not temping before that. My chart has the same thing because I am on progesterone and that can increase your temps
aka - I am sorry you are having some clomid side effects. Hopefully that will be the only SE you have. The mood swings and hot flashes were horrible for me
mindy - you can get fertile CM for many days before you O but I would start BD'ing to be sure
luvnu - I am so sorry to hear about DH's grandfather :(
TM thanks for moving me. I was just waiting patiently on my body and the meds. I was just about to ask if I should be moved to the What the *#@* is going on category so that helps me tremendously to know that someone agrees.
This is the best version of SO's I can do while at work.
Congrats to all who got BFP's and sincere I'm sorry's to those who AF or BFN's happened to.
I've been waiting to post until I was in a better mood. I didn't end up going to our health center at work. I have to admit after the initial "it may happen earlier" shock wore off from the Dr. telling me she was just going to put me on clomid wore off I starting really researching and talking to people about it. I decided to go to my OB's office (my neice works there so she got me in kind of quick). I'm so glad I did, she listened- I mean really listened - and put me on progesterone for ten days and wants me to come back on CD21 to have all kinds of tests done. She is proactive but in a safe way she wants to test me for all of the usual and b/c of my age she doesn't want to spend a lot of time waiting for things to evolve. Then in February/March if the tests show that it would be in my best interest we will start Clomid. I feel so much better now. So I never thought I would say this I'm just patiently wanting AF to show up so I can get to CD21.
So I am trying to be more positive now than I have been. It hasn't helped that DH and I were sick as dogs for the two weeks I took off (Christmas and New Years). But we're getting better now so that's great.
Anyway I've been watching and am very happy for the BFP's.
Oh and welcome to all of the newbies.

Just a question about my chart... My temp was below the coverline today and it really shouldn't have been. I have been a bit stuffy and woke up very cold this morning. Would that have caused the temp drop?

01-08-2008, 12:00 PM
Well I am back for another month of charting and TTC. This is cycle 4. Last month I couldn't chart so I left this thread.
I really didn't think it would take "this long." I think just thought you went off the pill and boom you got pregnant! My cycles have been long, too, since I went off the pill. I am really going to knuckle down this month with charting. I haven't wanted to check CM because I'm squimish but I think I will try that and also I have set my alarm for temping so it is less sporadic. Also, I am going to read TCOYF.
Its funny because I didn't really feel like I was in much a hurry, so to speak, to get pregnant. Mostly we were SWH but I was charting since I was coming off the pill and wanted to be more knowledgeable about my cycles, etc. But my best friend who also started TTC the same time as us just found out that she is pregnant! I am so happy and excited for her but I want that to be me too! It would be so fun to be pregnant together and take maternity leave at the same time, etc. Plus I am kinda jealous! So now it is all I can think about. I had an interview yesterday and my friend told me about her BFP right before so I couldn't concentrate the whole interview! Oh well...
Congrats to Julss and Taylandra!
And welcome to A-lo and KRL!

stacy654 That could be an implantation dip. They sometimes occur between DPO4-10. A dip doesn't always mean implantation though, so I hesitate to say anything.
Your temperature tomorrow and the day after will be better indicators...hopefully they will soar!!!

01-08-2008, 07:53 PM
Stacy,
I am at 5 DPO and I have had 2 days where my temp has dipped. I blame it on having restless nights of sleep. I didn't temp this morning since I had to pee really bad way before my temp time!
JillyBean
01-08-2008, 10:58 PM
TM, you can move me to waiting to O.
I don't understand why, but it looks like I had a 17 day LP this cycle. That wasn't frustrating at all:rolleyes:. I'm going to make an appointment with my herbalist and see what she thinks.
Congrats Julss and Taylandra!!

01-09-2008, 06:51 AM
What should I do with my temp? I normally temp at 6:45am and this morning I woke up at 5:30 and went ahead and took my temp because I wasn't sure I could go back to sleep, it was 97.4. I did fall back asleep and retook my temp at my normal time of 6:45 and it was 97.79, a normal temp for me at this time in my cycle. I would have to say that my body is weird with temps, I can wake up and temp and then lay there for like 45 minutes and temp again and it be the same temp. I'm sure it went up because I feel back asleep. I'm pretty consistent until I O. So, it's not weird to have the same time of temp for several days in a row. But then again the low temp could be ovulation....ugh.
Also, what do you think in regards to timing sex. We had sex on cd 8, and cd 10 (last night). Should we go again tonight (I'm sure I'll O tomorrow or today) AND tomorrow night or wait and skip tonight and try for tomorrow night. We don't have any sperm count issues that we know of, but because of past problems his dr said it COULD very easily be an issue, but he didn't get a SA. Should we just go for it and try for tonight and tomorrow night? Did I read somewhere that it takes appx 24 hours to regain the sperm count?!? We can't wait until tomorrow morning because DH works nights and I won't see him.
I know this is scattered, but any help would be appreciated! TIA - love ya ladies!

This means that missy329 is in need of a new threadmistress, when it becomes possible for editing to take place. It doesn't take much time to keep up on a day to day basis, so if anyone is willing to take my place, please let her know.

luvn43 Okay, I have been studying your chart. I'm not a professional at this, but I don't see the O for cd 9. Look back over your past few charts and get an idea of the pattern. Your coverline is VERY low - unusual for past charts. Have you been on any meds, changed anything in your diet? I would keep having sex for a few more days. Was your period normal? Spotting mid-cycle is normal for some ladies and for others it's not. Have you been off bcp for a while? I'm having a hard time remembering your story. Fill me in, and I'll be watching this thread to keep track and try to help you.
