Need a Prague hotel recommendation

I am going to Prague in October and will be meeting up with my old roommate. Anyone have a hotel recommendation for us?

Oh lucky!! I love Prague. I was even married there.

I recommend the Hotel Domus Henrici (http://www.domus-henrici.cz/). DH and I loved this hotel. We regretted that we didn't spend our entire stay there. It was very romantic. It's a tiny bit farther of a walk from Charles Bridge than some of the other hotels (so it's closer to Prague Castle), but the location is beautiful b/c it's on a hillside and the back of the hotel opens on a wonderful view of a valley park and the city beyond. It's a really tiny hotel with only 8 rooms.

I also spent 2 nights at the Hotel Elite (http://www.hotelelite.cz/en/) when I was finished studying in Prague and enjoyed it. It also has a good location for different reasons. It's on the other side of the river, very close to the main squares, shopping and attractions. I'd say it's like a 3 minute walk to the main square.

DH and I stayed at the Certovka (http://www.pragueholiday.cz/certovka.html) during the wedding. It has a great location right beside Charles Bridge, but we weren't as fond of the rooms. There was a flood after we left, though, so perhaps they remodelled. The beds were nice and the bathrooms were very nice, but the rooms were kind of blah (besides the view) and small and had no AC. It was the hottest summer in 47 years when we were there, so that was kind of a big deal to us at the time.
