Hi girls! My hubby and I are heading up to London, Ontario on December 14 for the weekend. We are attending a concert at the John Labatt Center on the 16th and heading back to Indianapolis on the 17th. So, we have a few days to hang out in the city. Does anyone have any recommendations on things to see and do? We have already booked our hotel... the Delta Armouries (sp?). I'd appreciate any suggestions!

Hi there. I don't post here much, but when I saw a shout out to my hometown, I had to respond. I lived in London for 18 years, and had my wedding reception at the Armouries. There isn't too much to do in London, but I would suggest:
- dinner or drink at Joe Kool's
- the Covent Garden Market
- dinner at the Red Goat/Garlic's/The Tasting Room/Blue Ginger/Black Trumpet
- shopping on Richmond Row

These are all downtown. London is a huge University town, so it's geared to the students. Lots of bars and cafes.

London is about 1.5 hours from Niagara Falls and 2 hours from Toronto which might be an idea.

Hope this helps.
