Congrats on the loss August!
So I just wanted to thank you girls for the support and let you know I won't be participating in this thread for a while. My last WW WI will be this weekend and I'll be taking a break for about 10 months!! :D

Well, I'm back. I had a rough go of things between Nov and Jan...gained about 5lbs. Oops. I went back to WW's and got on that stinkin' scale though. I will continue to go until I get the last 5-8 pesky pounds off. I am LT, but still want to get down lower. I am about 151 now and would like to be around 145 or just under. I want that 5 to be a 4 on the scale! ;) I have tracked all week (WI on Wed for me) and I think I have done better as my jeans are fitting better again. I have only used 5 of my flex and otherwise have written everything down...even have tomorrow all planned out. If I don't do that I won't track while at work. My goal this past and coming week is to not eat ANY food out in the lounge at work! The other goal I have is to avoid the Smart Ones meals. I think they're great for grab and go but they don't fill me up and then I am starving by 4pm...I figured out I can have so much more food and so much less sodium if I just PLAN. :)

I really need to start sticking to my points more. I know that .2 is better than nothing but if I'm frustrating myself that it's not more, even though I know I'm the cause it's not more :o Does that make sense? I do really good during the day then at night it's when I get crazy. And I'm not eating cause I'm hungry, I'm eating because I'm bored. And that thing that is killing me is that I won't let my boys eat when they are bored, but I do it :o I just need to get control over it.

Niko I know its so hard to lose sooo little and I hear ya. Im like that too but Im sure the loss will start speeding up
Well WI last night was just ok. I did gain 1.2 which was kind of surprising as I thought I did well but I didnt track all week. Prob got thrown off at times. I am still under goal though so thats my main concern. Now I have to be extra careful this weekand be sure to track. Dont want to overdue it.

I knew I gained but wasn't sure how much :( I have recommitted myself to start over this week. I am going to see my husband in 5 1/2 weeks, it will be the first time he's seen us since August. I am also going to start hitting the gym hard again today and try to start with my personal trainer next week. Those weeks will go by fast and then before you know it, summer will be here.

Well I gained another 0.8 last night at WI but only a bit over goal so Im ok with that as last few days were bad anyway. This week I have to crack down though and count and track! lol

Morning everyone
Well I hit Lifetime Status last night :) I have to admit I had to put my shoes and jacket on as I had lost too much. I can tell the girl at desk wanted me to hit that lifetime as if I went under too much I would of had to wait another wk. No No lol Its been a stressful wk though thats why i was so low as I barely ate. I have to admit that sucks.

I am so happy. I weigh myself on my Wii board and I am finally below the overweight line and my BMI is finally in a healthy area :D Of course though when I put 3.1 in the WW tracker I was scolded for going over the suggested 2 pounds, but I don't care :p
The boys and I leave on March 17th to go see DH in Germany for his leave and I'd like to loose as much as possible by then. I'm going to keep doing what I was doing this past week and I'll hopefully get to that 150 mark by the time I leave. That would be 23 pounds since he left.
I am sooooo excited right now :)

That soooo great Niko :D It sure is a great feeling isnt. it. I dont like that they feel they have to scold you for certain things I always say as long as your losing but not tooo tooo much it is fine. lol Hope you have a good week.

Went to WW last week and get there and it is closed. UGH We had horrible weather so they must of closed early due to all the snow we had. So no WI for me but this week we shall see. Now that I hit LT I just have to try and maintain. WE shall see.

Morning ladies. Happy Friday :D
Well I went last night and Im proud to say I lost 0.2 Actually this time I took off my sneakers. lol I prob did gain about 1lb from two weeks ago but again my sneakers were on back then so I can make lifetime. Im still happy about it though. I have to admit I wouldn't mind losing another few lbs to get down to 125 but dont want to push it either. Im still trying to manage to stay focused.
How did everyone else do this week?

I have reached my 10% goal :D I have 15 more pounds to my realistic WW goal, but I want to do another 10 on top of that. I'm taking baby steps for this journey and realizing that every ounce lost is an ounce lost :D
The next 2 weeks are going to be a challenge for me as the boys and I are going to Germany on Wednesday to see DH and not only do the Germans eat a lot of food, but they also eat late in the evening. And I'm not going to be in the gym at all :o I'll have access to the internet but not sure if half the foods I'll be eating are going to be in the tracker. I'm just going to have to have self control, and lots of water ;)

I didnt go to WI Last week as my Gma passed on Monday the 8th so it was a very emotional week. Did lots of eating too since then so this week Im sure will be a dreadful WI but trying today to get back on track. We shall see.

So we didn't make it to Germany, both boys are sick :( But DH did get to come home and it's the first time he's seen us since my weight loss. He said I look really good :D I'm only 1.5 pounds shy of my goal for when I saw hubby.

Thanks Niko...Im sorry you didnt get to go to Germany but glad DH was able to come home.
I did gain at last week's WI...a little over 2lbs but still only 0.2 over my goal so Im not complaining. Had alot of emotional eating the last couple wks and AF came Fri so this past weekend hasnt been much better but controlling myself a bit more than the wk before.

DH was home for the week and I gained; I got to go to the gym 4 times last week and I still gained :o I don't think I ate any different but obviously I did. So he leaves today and it's back on the diet big time. I have a girls weekend away hopefully on the 23rd and it's to the beach. I'd love to be able to get into a 2 piece, small top but skort bottom LOL The boys are on spring break this week so the gym will be hard, but I have the Wii and Hip Hop Abs and I'll be doing that at night.

Well last week (thurs nite) I am proud to report I lost -3.2 :D I lost what I gained week before and a bit more so Im happy. I went to a concert Fri night so I felt so much better about myself. As time goes by Im getting more comfortable.

Hello fellow WW's. :) Well down another 1lb last night. Cant say Im too surprised as Tue. night I wasnt feeling well and didnt eat dinner and ate light Wed. and yesterday. Now Im almost [b]4lbs[/] below my goal. Im happy I have to admit as originaly my goal was 125 a couple yrs ago but since it took me so long to get there and never did (got close couple times then blew it) I changed it to 130.
I hate to admit that some of this is from stress esp at home as there are times that I am not hunrgry but have to force myself to eat so I don't get sick.
I still want to try and go back to gym one of these days and start to tone up. Maybe next month if possible depending how things are on the home front. We shall see.

I got sick mid week and found out I had strep and an ear infection so I attribute my loss to not being able to swallow. I hit another WW goal of 5 pounds lost :) I weigh in on my Wii fit (only scale I have) and I hit goal on there finally :) I have my WW goal set at 140 so I still have a way to go with that. I still can't swallow which is a good thing cause I don't feel like hitting the gym so I will need all the help I can get to not gain this week.
So I'm going to be competing in the Disney Everest Expedition (http://espnwwos.disney.go.com/events/expedition-everest-challenge/) on June 12th. Once I'm feeling better I will start training hard and I'm hoping that jump starts the weight loss.

Great loss Niko. Im so sorry you were sick though but hope you feel better. I agree seems like we are only ones left lol. Miss everyone else though.
Lots of luck on the Disney Expidition. Im sure you will do great and Oh the Wii I have to get back on that soon. Dont have the Wii fit but may get it in summer. WE shall see.
Had a decent weekend so far as I felt more hungry yesterday but didnt overdo it. Tried to control as best I can.

I'm joining! I signed up yesterday, for the 3rd time. I weigh in at (uggg...) 213, goal is 160-ish. I'm 5'11" and athletically built, so the number really doesn't mean a lot to me. So far today, I've avoided a platter full of chicken fingers from chick-fil-a, so I'd say that's a good start!

I would like to join! I'm not officially doing WW (online or meetings), but I have all of the books and calculator and do the program on my own. I had started last year in March and lost 20 pounds, since then I totally fell off the wagon and regained 10 pounds since about October.

Morning fellow WWers Well I only gained 0.2 last night which is pretty much a maintain so Ill take it. :) As long as it wasnt more as I was worried I kind of overdid it.
I have to stay I looked at myself in mirror this mornign and I look kind of too thin around the chest area as I tend to lose there quicker. I was like uh oh. I want to go back to gym but to tone up around leg and thigh area. I better not do cardio as that may be a problem. lol I am so used to going on treadmill though as soon as I get there but may have to skip it next time around.

I don't have any of the stuff for WW (have to wait till DH gets paid we had two surgery/hospital bills from DS and I to pay off this month). So I've just cut, instead of cutting back, the things I consider bad. I cut out any and all pop for the most part (I was drinking diet) and while I HATE water I found I do enjoy Lifewater..which I think is better than nothing???Any thoughts??
I don't have a gym to go to, but I do have a wii which I'm stepping up my use of (since I'm weaning off the meds that caused the weight gain to begin with) so hopefully that's help in the weight loss.
augustbride- I would like to lose weight in my face first! Do a lot of squats and yoga or something lol! Good luck!

Good loss MrsSpencer!!! 2 pounds a week is ideal ;)
So I was thinking of stopping my WW subscription. I'm basically paying for them to track my weight. I'm not tracking my foods and I really don't check the points for food anymore either. I'm just basically eating much less with each serving and eating healthier. I'm also going to the gym 5 times a week. I'm thinking I'm going to try it on my own for a while and see if I can keep loosing. I signed up with a site called Weight Chart (http://www.weightchart.com) and I can track my loss for free. If I see that my weight starts to go back up, I'll revisit WW, but for now, I don't want to pay the $17 a month. In the mean time, I'm going to stay here with you ladies if I can, I love the support and seeing everyone lose along with me, it's inspiring :)
Thanks to my weight loss I've needed to get new clothes. Before I started WW I was wearing L to XL tops and size 14 pants. I am now either a S or M in shirts, depending on the cut and I just purchased size 8 pants today :D I also got skinny girl jeans today and I don't look like a stuffed sausage. The best part is I was able to purchase a 2 piece bathing suit. I'm 41 and I'm back in a 2 piece, I'm so excited. I believe I am summer body ready and it will only get better, I still have more weight to lose.

I don't have to weigh in until Tuesday, but I did this morning, and I'm down five pounds. So excited! I remember it being this way the last time I did it...I think I lost about ten pounds the first two weeks. I'm starting to exercise this week. I can't start tow things at once and be disciplined at both, so now that I'm past being hungry, my elliptical is calling my name.
Niko: Wow. I'm only 29, but I've had two kids, and I can't imagine shoving into a bathing suit at all, much less a two piece. Good for you!

I have never had LifeWater but heard it is pretty good. I drink water but at night Ill have the CrystalLight on the Go w water and dinner. IT is like a treat for me after having so much water in day.
The wii is great but I need to get back into it. I dont have wii fitness but would love to get it this summer.

Nothign wrong w/ doing it on your own. I cant do it only cause the mtgs are a huge support for me. The people and my leader are great. Im sure either way you can do it though as long as you have the motivation.

Mrs Ive been hesitant to get the Wii fit cause im afraid I wont like it but have heard lots of good things Just dont know. Somethign to really think about.
I finally went to the gym this weekend Only for about an hr but at least it was something. I havent gone in months! I did teh treadmill and elliptical for 15 minutes each and did some of the leg and arm weight machines. I just hope i can at least go a few times a wk as that will keep me motivated. :D

hi all, i haven't posted in a while..i've pretty much maintained but haven't been weighing in. I did get a mailing for lifetime members yesterday offering me a $10 per month fee to get back to goal. My goal was 142 (im 145) so that's only 1 lb above goal since they give you 2 lb +/-. Part of me doesn't want to spend the extra bucks for 1 lb but part of me wants to get back into officially weighing in once a month...
I have totally started running. i hope to enter my first 5K in May. it is such a great way to feel active, have my alone time and push myself. i am burning lots of calories too..i'm totally ready for summer clothes.
Just wanted to offer my support.

hi all, i haven't posted in a while..i've pretty much maintained but haven't been weighing in. I did get a mailing for lifetime members yesterday offering me a $10 per month fee to get back to goal. My goal was 142 (im 145) so that's only 1 lb above goal since they give you 2 lb +/-. Part of me doesn't want to spend the extra bucks for 1 lb but part of me wants to get back into officially weighing in once a month...
I have totally started running. i hope to enter my first 5K in May. it is such a great way to feel active, have my alone time and push myself. i am burning lots of calories too..i'm totally ready for summer clothes.
Just wanted to offer my support.
Hey Mrs Missed ya around here :) Glad to hear you have maintained as that is important It is sure better than gaining. A 5K would be awesome I would love to do that one day We shall see.
Well at last week's WI I gained 0.2 again which is like maintaining so I was ok with that but I ate alot over weekend as I got AF on Friday night. Im sure this week won't be good results but Im going to try and make up for it these next few days and eat normal and track and of course drink lots of water.

Well I did WI last night and gained like I thought 2.2 but a bit under goal so it's ok. Im sure Ill lose it right away this week. I did have AF and ate more cause of it. My doing.

Well I had another gain last night. A little over 2lbs Kind of suprised as I thought I controlled but guess I did get a bit mroe out of hand on weekend and Wed. night we ordered in. Now this week I really need to buckle down as Im a bit over my goal. Less than 2lbs but cant continue! Next week Ill be in Atlantic City Thurs to Fri so wont go to my normal mtg but may go with my mom in morning to her WW location and WI. I should have time to just do that before I head out. IF not at least Ill have 2 wks go get back on track.

So today I get up and weigh first thing, and I'm up 2lbs for the week. Holy crap, I almost died. I have literally stayed within my points every single day for the last 3.5 weeks. I ate out Tuesday for my mom's bday, but I was still in range for the day. I am supposed to start Monday....could that be it? I exercise everyday at 5am...please tell me I'm not doing all of this for nothing!

I have not posted in here but have been back on WW for 4.5 weeks know. I Have done the program many times (post each child) and pre.
I am VERY sensitive to water weight gain between getting my period and sodium/salty food. For that reason I weigh myself regularly at home because sometimes I will fluctuate 2-3 pounds between days. So my point is I doubt you really "gained 2 lbs" if you are staying within your points. Just stay on plan and I bet within 1-2 weeks you will see a bigger drop. Some people just lose that way. I often stay the say for 1-2 weeks then lose 2-3 lbs at once.
Also, how do you feel and your cloths feel - it is also a good measure of success.

Hi ladies! I haven't been in here in over a month, I've been busy and kept forgetting. Everyone is doing so well and I wish I could say the same :o On April 12th I was 153.1 and when I weighed in on Monday morning I was 153.9. Now that little bit of gain is not a lot, but for the past couple of weeks I haven't been able to get away from 153 :o
I'm stuck at this number for a few reasons, I did go off plan for a while, I haven't been working out, I've been SUPER stressed and depressed and just been bad with my eating habits :( But I'm back on the plan and been exercising as much as I can. As for the stress and depression, well it's still there but trying not to let it get to me as much. I've also tried to start snacking healthier lol.
I do have some motivation to get back on track though. I'm running a 5k next Sat the 12th and it should be interesting cause I really haven't been training for it 100%. I can run about 2 miles non stop and then I usually give up. I do believe though when it comes down to the actual run, I won't give up cause I will have a partner that I have to answer too lol. And a long time friend that I haven't seen in years wants to lose weight. He lives in a different state and I've been helping him with menu choices and he's losing weight along with me. I'm going to be seeing him in 8 weeks and we now have a challenge, I want to lose 15 more pounds and him 20 by the time we see each other. Both are realistic if he eats correctly and I get my butt back in the gym haha. We haven't decided on what the winner gets but I'm sure it will include some sort of high point meal :D
So basically that is what is going on with me. I'm back in the game and going to start being accountable for my choices. So on that note, I'm off to run on my trampoline ;)

Hello all...Im sorry for not posting lately. Been a bit of a slacker. Im thinkin of you all though. Well last week I didnt go to WW as I wasnt feelin well and the two WIs before that I went to mtg but didnt WI. Havent been on track also so didnt want to ruin it. Well went last night and I gained a bit and now 4lbs over goal. I was disappointed in myself as I was doing well and even below goal but I guess we all have those times. I had to open the wallet LOL Now onto a new week and hope to start out well. Have to get back on track and fast. Hope to lose at least 2lbs this week so dont have to pay again and start from there. We shall see.
Hope you all are doing well. It summertime ladies. Time to get those bikini bods ready! :D

August, we all have those times when we go back up. Don't stress it, just put it behind you and move forward from here.
Which is what I need to do. I gained since last week, 1.3 pounds :( I was eating much better and actually ran a 5k on Saturday night and trained over the week for it. I'm not sure what happened but I'm hopefully back on track now. I have come to realize that unless I work out, I'm not going to lose. When I'm just eating I'm maintaining the same weight. I need to add exercise in there to help me along. So I will start over again! Not going to beat myself up, just look forward!

So I'm basically where I was before I started my gain again, but I lost this week and didn't gain, so I'm good ;)
Starting Weight: 173.6

Total Weight: -20.1
Present Weight: 153.5
I went to the gym every day except Thursday when I had my tongue pierced ;) I was in too much pain LOL I will be hitting the gym every day this week and actually may not be eating these first few days this week cause my tongue is super sore and hurts a lot when I eat. I know it's not the ideal situation, but I can live off of the extra body fat I have ;)

Wow it has really been a long time! Ive been so busy and all and barely get to post in here anymore. WEll Ive been on and off now with the weight. I did go over goal about 3 wks ago but not by much. I did have to pay one week but that was it. I didnt WI last week as AF showed up but this week I should. Need to get back on track. Ive been doing ok but havent tracked in so long that I need to get on that!
How is everyone else doing?

upset about that but 'happy' to be eating ;)
Mexico is calling us for Feb 2011; i want to be at my goal weight and healthy. once school starts for my kids..i can concntrate on me

I wasn't around before :), but I've been doing WW online since Labor Day. I'm down just under 15 lbs so far (I have a lot to lose), and most of my clothes fit again. I'm not having a super motivated day, but I have plenty of "activity points" left from the week, and they reset tomorrow, so I should be ok as long as I measure all of my party leftovers before I eat them!

Is anyone else hating the new program? The first 2 weeks I gained 1.5 pounds since I am breastfeeding and I have to eat 43!!! Most of the food I normally eat didn't change points and now with fruit free I was only eating about 29 and still had 14 to go after dinner. So I switched to filling food and seem to be doing better although the holidays weren't kind.

Ferris: oye! i'm nervous for my first week WI!
I worry i am eating too much fruit. I stepped up the exercise though. by filling food what do you mean??!! i'm still getting the lingo straight. its all different now. I just hope i'm doing it right! I am tracking everything but totally ate into my 49 extra points yesterday which discouraged me so i was at the gym at 5:30 am for a 30min run..not i'm exhausted and hungry.
i find the first 3 weeks are the worst! DH is doing it to. We are going to Mexico for Presidents week so there is my first motivation but i'm a miserable miserable person and this is only day 3!!!

ferris, I had trouble eating enough points too at first -- it was interesting because I guess I eat a lot of fruit and veggies which are free. I asked at a meeting what to do about it, and she said to NOT eat extra food (like after dinner and stuff) just because you haven't hit the target for the day...just eat until you're satisfied and try to adjust the next day.
It seems to be working okay, and I'm trying not to worry about micromanaging points. I also have added peanut butter back into my diet to compensate for needing more points to hit 29 every day. So that's been fun!

seems to be working for me (at least the first week) because i lost 3.4. I've really been strict and hit the gym hard. someone at work today told me i look 'slimmer' and she didn't even know i was doign any weight loss/fitness thing. I guess that's motivation.

I just rejoined and kinda hate the new program. I get 31 points, and I think I used to get 27 or something, so I didn't get too many more. But the things I used to eat gained a lot of points. And I think I'm eating generally healthy stuff like Amy's Kitchen and Evol Burritos. I go over my points every day so I end up using all of my activity points and some of my extra 49.
I just ran a marathon last Sunday, and I suppose my body is used to getting so much more "fuel". Now that I'm not in marathon-mode and actually trying to lose weight, it's becoming a lot more difficult. But this has pushed me to go to the gym so much more and try new activities. I went to yoga tonight, and I hadn't been in over a year or so.

i WI tomorrow for the second time (i missed last monday due to MLK day and we were away). I love the new program and see amazing results in three weeks - no matter what the scale says. I have been sticking to points and working out 4 times a week. I have dropped a clothing size already and i'm back where i feel good and my clothes fit. I have been very disciplined on this and have DH doing it too (and so are a few of my close friends which helps). WEnt out to a restaurant Mario Batali (food network) owns last night and totally stayed within my points - used some flex points, had appetizer, drinks, dessert yada. i was up at 8 am at a spin class. I feel totally in control of myself, my family and my life. I think it all starts with how you eat. I'll see what the scale says tomorrow.

Wow havent been here in sooo long and I was here faithfully. I havent followed program at all latey adn gained alot back that I feel I have to start from scratch. :( Need to get back into the whole points plus program and fast!
Ill try to get back in here next week to update. Really down on myself about all this.

I started about a month ago but haven't been very faithful. I don't know what's wrong with me. But, I'm determined to lose 10-15 pounds and I know I can do this!!
I'm using the online program and I like it. I just have to keep myself motivated!

Finally went back this week after months off. Gained back 15 of the 25lbs I had lost. I don't think that the change to PP will make a huge difference in my individual eating choices, I'm not a huge fruit eater and was generally eating a higher protein, fewer packaged foods, etc. anyway. The only significant change for me is that winter squash is now 0!
What I can't seem to do is get myself back into the gym. I really want it to warm up soon so I can start cycling again.

I just joined WW today. I did it about 6 years ago and LOVED it. Although back then I only needed to lose 15 lbs. I'm having a harder time losing the baby weight this time around so hopefully the new program will be easy for me to use.

DH & I joined WW December 28th. We've both lost around 20lbs so far! I have 6lbs to go to reach healthy BMI.
I haven't been exercising, at all. I really need to figure something out & stick to it.

i just cancelled my monthly pass b/c i hit my goal/lifetime weight..unfortunately, they take away your etool access too so i have no idea where i'm at and haven't been tracking/counting or Weighing in. i guess i should go WI (i refuse to get on my scale).. *sigh* but i have been working out pretty hard, working with a trainer and just completed a 4 mile race. Meanwhile, i guess i need to maintain but they say that's adding an additional 6 pts per day which seems a lot.

Anyone still doing WW? I've been wanting to re-join for a while but there are no convenient meetings near my new town. Just signed up to do it online anyway. Is anyone else doing the online program? How do you stay motivated week-to-week when you're not going to meetings? After the first couple weeks, I always found that having to face the scale at meetings was my biggest motivator to stay on track. Hoping I won't lose steam just doing this online.
Also, the "new" point allocation seems a little crazy. I used to get 23 points and now I get 29. ???

I'm not sure how I feel about this new program. I did really well and hit Lifetime using the "old" program. I gained a little back, so I rejoined and I'm not losing like I used to. I think that the "free" fruit is hurting me. I love fruit and can eat a lot of it, so it has to add up somewhere, right?
