Bear kitchen decor

DH's Aunt recently mentioned how she wanted to redecorate her small kitchen in black bears - not the lodge type stuff, but the bears and bees type of thing (with honey). I thought, "what a easy Christmas idea"...but now I can't find the stuff! I know I've seen it, but I don't know where. I looked at LNT when I was there this week and saw nothing. I've checked Walmart and Bed, Bath & Beyond online and found nothing.

Any idea where to find this stuff? Is it even available anymore???

Oh I think I know just what you mean! A while ago I searched ALL over for a certain cookie jar (looks like a beehive with a bear crawling on it) - to use for my 'Honey Do' jar! (I call him my Huggy Bear and it just 'fit' so well) :rolleyes: I know.. Im a geek - but it IS cute. I think it was called Northern something or other, but I will search a bit - or we can't find anything by tonight - I will look at home on my cookie jar and see if it has it stamped somewhere.

ETA - I couldnt find mine - found some bears and beehives but not like mine. (I remember I had a hard time finding it the first time, but if you search for Bearfoots, or Northern Bear it brings up some items, that might give you a start).

YES! Thats the one. What the heck is it called? I know I had trouble finding it the first time. I had to order mine through ebay though - but I am in the 'great white north' so chances of finding it here were even slimmer. :)

I have that bear cookie jar that looks like a honey pot. I ordered it through the Lakeside Collection (http://www.lakesidecollection.com) a few years ago, but they don't sell it anymore! It looks just like the bowls you posted, Medako. Sorry I can't be of more help!

I did a google image search for "bear cookie jar" and "honey bear cookie jar." There are some cute ones out there.

Thanks for those sites KissMary! That's my cookie jar - the Honey Bear one, I just have to MacGyver it up so the Cookie says Honeydo. :D And that same site had the timer that I pondered getting before. Doesn't 'really' go with my kitchen, but its just so darn cute! :)
