I'm excited. Planning on seeing this either tonight or a matinee tomorrow. I love John Cusack and Diane Lane, and I haven't seen Elizabeth Perkins in too much lately! I fell in love with her in Big. Seems to be getting pretty good reviews. Love seeing romantic comedies with 30's-40's people in them. I can relate so much more than the Mandy Moore flicks!!

I'm excited to see it too! I think it looks really cute. You'll have to come back and tell us what you think of it after you go see it! :)

I would see it again in a heartbeat!! Anyone want to go with me?
It was SUCH a FUN movie... clever, witty, charming. Great date movie, girl's night out movie, cheer-me-up-because-I'm-having-a-bad-day movie... whatever. Go see this movie! Even the guys in the theater were laughing out loud throughout it.
So nice to see Christopher Plummer again! He recites a poem and you witness yet again what a brilliant performer he is.
John Cusack is his typical quirky self that I adore, Diane Lane is... well... Diane Lane (love her, she's so "normal" and believable in everything she does), Elizabeth Perkins is terrific (the real-life friendship between her and Diane Lane shines through), and Stockard Channing touched me (I didn't expect her character to affect me like it did). Dermot Mulroney was nice to look at too! ;)
I am looking forward to getting this on video already!!
Great Quote: He has a PhD and a great ass... why turn that down for ethics?
Maybe I'll make DH go see this for my BDay. *Evil laugh* He hates these movies.

He thought it was funny, but didn't understand why I'd want to see it twice in the movie theater; and he thought that Serendipity was funnier. Of course, that has Jeremy Piven in it, and he was a riot, but...
So, that's the man's take...

I'm so glad to hear that you liked it, Alice. I love all four of those actors you mentioned, so I hope I would like it, but I've heard mixed reviews. But I trust your opinion a hell of a lot more. ;) :D
