taking the lead from the "commercials you hate" thread...

personally, i love the brawny paper towels commercial where the brawny man is making a birthday cake and keeps looking into the camera in this really coy way. it cracks me up every time.

My new favorite commerical is the one for a Cookie Dough ice cream thing at Checkers or Sonic or some such place. They show the husband and wife in a car enjoying their tasty snack and the husband says to his wife:

"I bet you could make this at home. And the best part is that you wouldn't have to cook anything"

And the wife gives him the stare 'o death like "you did not just insult my cooking did you?"

And he looks at her, realizes his mistake and says "uh.... You look pretty"

Cracks me the hell up. :D

These are old but I loved the Taco Bell commercials with the guys saying "Zesty" and the one where they were stomping their feet in tune to the "We Will Rock You" song by Queen.

An old one I love is the one for Sierra Mist where the guy takes his boxer shorts out of the freezer and puts them on. "Yeah....It's kinda like that."

I also think the Pepsi ones with P Diddy are VERY funny.

I like the old Budweiser ones with the frogs and lizards. Also the one with the mule who dreamed of being a Clydesdale. And the "real men of genius" ones.

A lot of the Nascar commercials you see on Sundays during races are a riot.

I love the one for minimum coverage car insurance where the squirrel runs the car off the road, then high-fives the other squirrel.

I love the credit card fraud ones where it's the wrong voice coming out of the person's mouth. "Rrrrrrr.....mama sita!"

I also love the one that aired around Christmas, with the family in the mall discussing how they're going to split up to shop and meet up later, and each person is supposed to call a different person to check in, but then as they start to leave, they realize they don't have cell phones. :D It was so silly that I always cracked up.

oh, and i love the recent burger king commercials. the "wake up with the king" ones... so awkward but so funny...

the tendercrisp bacon cheddar ranch commercial, however, was funny at first but then the song got stuck in my head for DAYS. it drove me nuts.

--I also like the "Manomanon" Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper ones! :) I'm old enough to remember "The Muppets"! ;)

--I liked the old "Buddy's Carpet Barn" commercials with Buddy in his red suit! We used to make fun of him! He just go so excited about carpet! "I don't care about makin' money, I just LOOOVVE to sell carpet!"

--Office Max "Rubber Band Man" commercials--especially the Back to School ones.

--The back to school Staples ones. I LOVED the one with, "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" playing and the father jumping down an isle and the kids walking behind, slowly, with frowns. :D I haven't seen it lately. I also like the one with Alice Cooper doing back to school shopping and the girl says, "I thought you said school was out forever," and he says, "No...just for the summer." Ummm...she's right...it's out forever and at the very end, it's out "come-plete-lee".

The only commercial I can think of that I loved is the Folgers holiday commercial that originally aired in the late 70s/early 80s. A young man comes in the house, and an adorable little girl runs down the stairs yelling "Peter! Everyone's asleep!" They then make a pot of coffee and the family wakes up, thrilled to find Peter home for Christmas. I was so thrilled when they started airing that commercial again a few years ago around Christmas time! True sign of a classic.

My all-time favorite commercial was the Starbucks commercial (I think from last year) with Survivor where they changed the words to Eye of the Tiger to fit Glen and then Survivor is in the bathroom while he's shaving, on the bus, and in the elevator with him. Then they start singing to Roy. Too funny.

I also love the HP printer commercials. The ones with the guy waving the frames around that fill up with his picture (Hard to describe, but you know what I mean if you've seen it).

My all-time favorite commercial was the Starbucks commercial (I think from last year) with Survivor where they changed the words to Eye of the Tiger to fit the Glen and Survivor is in the bathroom while he's shaving, on the bus, and in the elevator with him. Then they start singing to Roy. Too funny.

I am loving the new one with "Hank." I enjoy the Hank mascot doing the worm. It cracks me up every time I see it, and I always sing along! :)

I was going to post the same thing! My favorite is the one with the girl's voice coming out of the middle-aged guy's mouth ("...I didn't care 'cause it lifts and separates"). The expression on that guy's face is hilarious! :D

My new favorite commercial is for Aflack (Aflac?), where this guy is sitting with his leg in a cast and his friend walks in a says he looks pretty good. The guys says it's b/c Aflack is taking care of him, and it shows the duck paying all his bills for him. Then the doorbell rings, and he says, "Chinese is here," and it shows the duck walking to the door with cash. His friend then says, "Oooh, I love the duck." And the duck drops the money and stops cold. It cracks me up to no end!! :D

Real men of genius commercials

The T-Mobile commercial where the families are yelling at their kids "Leslie Ann Johnson, Aidan Patrick Riley Hogan McFarland, Buffy Delorean Rigsdale" etc.

There's this trash bag commercial where a runaway trash truck drives off a cliff, and for some reason, it cracks me up.

I agree with the Real Men of Genius commercials...they crack me up.

The credit card fraud ones are good. "I don't care....it lifts and seperates!" DH and I repeat that all the time. I also like the one with the old lady cleaning her pool, talking about the naked lady mudflaps.

I saw one the other day that cracked me up. It was for cheese, I think and the catchphrase was something like, "The best cheese comes from happy cows, happy cows live in California." The cows are out in the pasture, one spots a cloud coming, and in slo-mo yells, "CCCCLLLLOOOOUUUDDDDD!" All the cows panic and try to run away from this little tiny cloud passing over them. I guess you have to see it. It doesn't sound so funny when I try to describe it.

Also, the ones that say, "People do stupid things," and they show home movies of people doing dumb stuff, like a guy cutting down a tree and it falls on his car. I think it's for either cell phones or a credit card. The funniest one shows these people playing a game at a picnic. They're playing that game where you put your forehead down on the end of a baseball bat and spin around in a circle, then try to run. This lady runs smack into the side of a shed. It's hilarious.

The Geicko commercials have been getting good, lately. There have been a few that I actually thought were real commercials.

I also love the one with Five for Fighting's One Hundred years for the credit cards, following the people through their lives.

I love those "people do stupid things" commercials too. Are those real footage? I believe the one where the kid swings his baseball bat behind him, accidentally lets go and it goes right through the glass sliding door. But did someone actually film a guy cutting down a tree, and then the tree falling on his car?

Hilarious either way. :D

I LOVE THE STARBUCKS COMMERCIALS! DH and I randomly break out into song about Roy or Glen.. The new one about Hank is pretty funny too.

I love the christmas Folgers one too, they still play it every once in awhile at Christmas.

I like the Motorola video message commercial. A woman is doing a striptease for a video message, and there are cutaways to a man's reaction. Then he puts the phone down, another man walks in, and the first man says "Your wife called. (long pause) She seems nice."

* The Mastercard commercial with the lost dog who eventually finds his way home. I get mad at the family for leaving him, but the dog is so cute, and all of the stories are neat.

* M&M's commercials - especially when Karen is singing, and she says that nothing rhymes with orange, and the orange M&M goes, "I'm still going to get paid, right?"

* They don't play it anymore, but I loved the Coke commercial where the girl was walking around giving away Cokes and singing a pretty song. Her voice was amazing, and the looks on people's faces was so cute.

* "Put the lime in the coke, you nut" - that commercial cracks me up every time I see it.

* The Dr. Pepper commercial where the guy across from the table is singing, "Ma-na-ma-na"

Vonage (People do stupid things)-cant get the song out of my head.

Capital One- all of the just say no commercials. Especially the one,"I'm shaking in my yellow shirt!" I laugh every time.

T-Mobile one where the guy is the hostage and the hostage-taker is calling Nana, and the DMV.

How many of you remember the old McDonald's commercial at Christmas time back in the 80's that showed Ronald helping an ice skating girl up and helping her skat? I LOVE that commercial and wish they'd still show it.

Speaking of old McDonald's commercials--the one where the kids are at camp and it's raining and they troop off to McD's and sing something like, "We are Nipper-Snippers, We're in luck, If it rains all week, We'll act like a duck!" :)

I just saw one tonight with two cows talking about what they want to do, "nap or eat" and they decide to ring the farmer's doorbell and run back across the road! He comes to the door and all he sees are these two cows in a field across the road! :) It's advertising California Dairy farmers.
