Tech Savvy girls PLEASE HELP: no sound after XP install...

i thought i was fairly tech-educated, but apparently not...

i just re-installed XP on my computer, and have no sound as a result...i was told in order to have sound i would need to re-install the driver for my sound card but i don't know where to find it, how to do it...etc. i am going CRAZY here at work with no music! im around so if you would like to help me out or need to ask questions...please post back here, or IM me on AIM at heatherbee024...save me from my cubicle hell! please!

I'd try googling the model name/number for the sound card and see if you can find a place to download the driver. You should be able to see the sound card information under your control panel.

Unplug and replug the speakers, then reboot. See if that works.
