Any members? I got some advice to give my 7 month old either some children's Dramamine or Benadryl. Do you have any other advice? He has been a puker since the day I brought him home. Day to day he is fine. He's part Yorkie, part Bichon.
I know he's not supposed to sit on my lap when I drive but he does so don't judge mmK?
Any remedies or help would be appreciated.

Those are what I recommend- ask your vet for a dosage!

Mine is a major car drooler/puker too. In addition to the benedryl, the vet said to make sure not to feed him less than an hour before riding. An empty stomach really seems to help my guy now. He still drools all over but less puking now.

Our little guy is a little over 4 months. We hadn't traveled with him before, but did this weekend. Previously, he has puked in the car if we are driving for more than 15 minutes (to or from the vet or when a trip home from the park includes an errand or 2). We knew he would probable puke on this trip, so we asked the vet and they told us to just give him children's benadryl (she gave us the dosage info). Well, we were only about 2 hours into a 4 hour trip and he had already puked 4 times. I called the vet while we were in the car and they said i can't give him anything else. I mentioned dramamine and they said no, i shouldn't give it to him. My poor little baby was miserable. On the way home today, he puked once when i tried to give him his benadryl and just before we got home. What i did different was I didn't feed him breakfast. I felt bad, but i couldn't imagine him puking the whole ride home like he did there.
Can anyone give me any other ideas. i don't want to starve my puppy and i feel so bad. He just lays there looking just miserable when we're in the car
