What does "vapor net" mean?

Okay, so I have recently signed up for online dating and I corresponded with a guy who referred to OD as the "vapor net" -- ??? What does that mean? You meet people and suddenly, poof! They disappear without warning? I figured I'd ask him but I don't want to reply that fast so I knew my girls on CC would know.

I have little to no experience with OD and this is the first time I'm "out there" in over a (shudder) decade so if you have a clue, I'd love to know.

Well, I think I know what vapor net means. I was right. Never heard back from the online guy......so there you go! :p
