I thought it was easy to save. At the background selection part, there is an Export/Send button and you click that and you can save in 3 sizes. When the Save As dialog comes up, you have to type the file name AND extension. ie. mysimpson.png

I just used a couple of wedding portraits for ours. They're the only pictures I have high-res of our faces. :P

Sophia - sorry it wasn't working for you. Like many others here, I had horrible problems with the site the week before the movie release. It was just overloaded.

I just Simpsonized DH and no problems - site was fast, Export button asked me to choose an image size and clicking on the buddy icon or other one, brought up the Save As dialog easy-peasy. Hm.

I think the problem I was having was from not adding the extension when I exported them. DH says opened them in our photo editing program and did a Save As from there, during which he added the extension.

Oh, how are some of you getting a gray background?

I'm LMAO at the peach fuzz 'stache I gave DS, and I'm annoyed that DD2 is almost bald--she was born with a full head of hair. I changed her age to 2, but that gave her a much older looking body, so I'm dealing with the lack of hair.. :)

And I should be at least half a head shorter.

The first time I tried it, I used a photo where I was wearing a green hat, and it gave me green hair! I'll have to try again with a better photo.

You can change your hair color, clothing color, etc, once you start going through each category to choose specific features.

I did my simpsons on the actual Simpson's movie website, and they turned out much better than at simpsonize me dot com. That site kept making me yellow when I was choosing brown, and it was so darn slow. I have the pics saved to my work pc. I'll have to come back and post them monday. I made simpsons of both DH and myself, and they look just like us! :eek:
