View Full Version : Favorite brand of pants that aren't super low rise?
Do you all have a store where you usually purchase your pants? For example the Limited has the "Drew" pant that comes in different colors ... Express has the "Editor"...etc. What is your favorite store/fit??
I am looking for a pant that is not too "relaxed" - not skin tight of course but I'd like them to be form fitting. I also need a higher rise. Again - not a granny rise where the pants come right up to my chest :) I just can't do those super low rise deals. I need something that is either at the waist or *just* below the waist. Any and all suggestions are welcome!
THANKS!!!

LOL, I was just coming to post about Limited/Drew and Express/Editor but maybe those are too low? I don't consider them low rise and they fit great!

I've really taken a liking to Apt. 9 pants (you get them at Kohls). I like the Maxwell and Ava styles. The rise on both is just below the waist. I used to love Old Navy's, but they just keep getting lower and lower, and I don't feel like showing off my tush to the rest of the world when I bend over.

Both Ann Taylor and Banana Republic have a variety of rises.

If you're on a budget, Old Navy carries trousers in both "At Waist" and "Just Below Waist" rises and I've had good luck with both. Nearly all of my slacks are "just below waist" rise.

Style & co. (at Macy's) are perfect on me. Not too low, not too high.

I love New York & Company bootcut or flare. They fit very well and they sit about mid-waist.

Banana Republic "Martin" fit. They fit just below the belly button - a very comfortable fit!

I like the Contour Fit at Banana Republic - they fit me perfectly. I also like the Ann fit at Ann Taylor.

GAP has some great pants and jeans that are not too low. I am so pleased about the longer tops and higher rises.
