My DH and I decided to foster 3 6-8 week old kittens for a no-kill kitty rescue here in dallas yesterday. OMG....I had forgotten what instant happiness you get when you watch babies play together. Although these 3 little guys don't trust people too much (we are working on that) they love, love, love to play with each other. I lost count of the number of times they spider-walked at each other and fluffed up their tails and backs....they roll around and love to JUMP in the air all startled when another one runs out at them....they are soooooo cute. If you are ever down...you just need to foster a couple little kittens and you'll be instantly lifted! Better than Prozac!
Here are a couple of pics of them....they are all available for adoption.
Meggie (named for my sister's cat that was put to sleep last week)...she is buff colored and is coming around to being handled. She is the only one that didn't hiss at me this morning when I went into their room and actually started purring when I was holding her.

Murphy (named for my sister's dog that was put to sleep last month)....he is going to be a big boy...he is an ATTACK CAT...won't leave Meggie alone. He and Meggie are SUPER close.

Claire (she is the most high-maintenance, named her after someone I know that is also high-maintenance)....she is the most jumpy, has not taken well to being handled although this morning she did close her eyes when I picked her up and held her. She is going to be the biggest challenge.

Honestly, after having them just one day I would hate to see Meggie and Murphy adopted seperately as they are very close to each other and play together constantly. Claire is very independent and doesn't really seek the others out for playtime....now, nap time is a completely different story...they all pile together in one chair, it makes you want to eat them up! I'll get a pic of that later. :p
