Has anyone read "Blindsided By A Diaper"? This is such a great book for those of you into reading. It's a bunch of extremely truthful essays (some funny, others poignant) about how having a baby changes your life, esp. the relationship you have with your spouse. The essays are written by men and women (all new parents) about everything you usually don't hear about as a new parent. I'm also going to post this in the infant forum because I'm loving this book (not done with it yet). Awesome writing, and the kind that makes you feel like everything you've felt as a parent - you are not alone.

If you've read it, post your thoughts! If not, here's my recommendation. :)

I believe I've read excerpts from it in recent magazines - I forget where - and have been very impressed by its realistic feel. I'll have to get the book. Humor is good in parenting sometimes - okay, often! Thanks for the recommendation.

There was an excerpt in this month's "Parenting" that cracked me up. The desciption of having to pee in the middle of the night, but being terrified to wake the baby, hit very close to home!
