My husband will be taking our 8 month old son to Dodger Stadium for a game in August. Is there some kind of seat we can get for him to sit in that will confine him? I don't think there's room for the stroller. And I don't really see my husband holding him the whole time.

He's probably too big for his infant carseat now from a safety POV, but I wonder if he could still be strapped in to it to make it just a seat?

Hmm, the seats at Dodger Stadium are pretty narrow, so my concern would be that the actual infant carrier wouldn't fit on the seat. It would side to side, I think, but not front to back.
Can you get your DH a carrier - like a MT or something, that way he doesn't have to deal with the weight of holding an 8 month old during the whole game? How about one of those bumbo seats?

Our DS was 8 months old during off-season, but we always took him to games in a carrier (Baby Bjorn, specifically) and it worked well both at 4 months and at 10 months.

We hold our daughter at ball games and use a carrier (mei tai, Bjorn, etc.).

Thanks girls - I'll tell DH. So far DH has not tried the Bjorn - I'm the one who uses that. Our DS is big and pushes himself out of the bumbo after a few minutes... Any other ideas?

I think your best bet is the Bjorn. I don't know if you could secure it to a stadium seat, but what about one of the FP booster seats?

Oooooh, the booster/high chair seat is an excellent idea - the one we have would probably work (I'm not sure what brand it is though).

This (http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=2001&e=detail&pid=27475) is the one we have...but again, I don't know how well it would secure.
Also, even if he goes with something like this, he may want to bring a carrier, too. I know my DS won't stay in one spot for very long ;)

This might work well and it folds small. We have one but haven't used it yet.

I was thinking of the same one mommydearest posted. We have that and we really like it. We take it with us when we visit people who don't have a place for Nicky to sit. I am almost certain it is small enough to fit on the stadium seats. I bought mine at Target for $20.

could work. If you google "Sack n seat" you get multiple places that sell it.
