I have been relying on our crib soother (like the Rainforest, Aquarium, etc.) to get DS down for naps. But I'm realizing this is not going to work when we travel and he is sleeping in a Pack n' Play. Do they make anything that is portable and can either attach to the PnP or sit nearby?

I am specifically looking for something that has music, lights and motion. I know it's a long shot, but hopefully this exists!

Oooh good question.

My DS sleeps exclusively in his PnP (has since birth - no room for a crib) and I usually just put his FP Mobile on the ground outside of the PnP for him. I turn it on when he's going to sleep and he'll lay down and watch it and fall asleep watching it.

It'd be great to find out if they have anything specific for PnP's though :D

My PNP has music and a vibration feature. Its the Laura Ashley Canterbury.

I just bring our aquariums with us when we travel. It hasn't ever been a problem!

Do you put them inside or outside the PnP? I did realize I could probably set it up right outside the PnP and he could still see it through the mesh. Duh!

Great, one more giant thing to lug around when we travel!

Our PNP play came with a little soother that attaches onto the side. It has music and nature sounds. Check BRU. I'm not sure if they sell it seperately but I would guess they would.

Robyn: We take our fp soother with us. My DH has always had no trouble attaching it to the side of our graco pnp. I'll ask him how he attaches it if you like.

Please tell me! I have no idea how to attach it. I have a FP one as well, so if there is some way to hook it on there I would love to know.

Thanks!

Wanted to come back to let you know I was able to find something!

It's just as big as the other FP soothers, so not totally ideal to travel with (although we did pack it just fine). BUT, this one has a single attachment point in the back, which allowed us to thread it through one of the gaps at the corner of the pack n' play and it attached securely. DS seemed to love it.

It's an older model, but I found it on ebay for about $9.
