Nail Polish remover on dogs?

Can I use nail polish remover on my poodle? The groomer painted her nails and got it all over the fur on her feet and nails and now she's licking and chewing the areas and I don't want her to get sick so I want to remove it. TIA. Christine

I would use a non-acetone brand (make sure she doesn't lick it while you're working), then wash her paws after with dog shampoo to get all the polish remover residue off.
