what's a "torna boda"? i've gathered that it is a huge mexican feast hosted by the brides parents the day after the wedding. but i don't know the protocol.
are they formal? informal? are you expected to stay all day? is it just eating? or dancing as well?
we're invited to one in brownsville, texas. from 8-5. is that 8am? (i only ask since i know the reception/dinner doesn't start until 9pm the night before - and i'm wondering who in their right mind will be up at 8 am - unless they don't go to sleep. . .)
