I bought some 100% over the counter glasses (the smallest type). I'm not yet having trouble reading but I am getting closer to the age where I will need glasses. It's kind of amazing how those things really make the print stand out! I do think my eyesight is not what it was but I don't usually notice it. I want to use them for really small type.
I thought that if I used the glasses then perhaps I could avoid eyestrain. But then I was thinking--will these make my eyes worse? Will I need glasses sooner? Or is it just progressive and it doesn't matter what you do?
Oh, I forgot to mention I cannot afford glasses by prescription now. Maybe I will be able to eventually but not now.
