Is anyone else watching Wimbledon?

I'm mainly watching recaps & highlights of the early matches but will be watching everything this weekend. The Moya/Henman match was crazy! It just went on and on! I thought that fifth set would never end.

I don't know who I'm rooting for this year yet. Anyone have early favorites?

I actually haven't seen any matches so far due to most of it being on while I'm at work. I've been keeping updated online at work, just checking scores etc.
I will try to catch some over the weekend.

My US favorites are James Blake (I heart him:)) and Roddick on the mens side. If neither of them make it, I'm hoping that Nadal can finally beat Federer on grass.
Honestly, there aren't too many of the ladies that I'm interested in. Besides the Williams' sisters are there even any Americans in the tourney? It's a pretty low time for the US women in tennis now.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to see much but highlights as well. Of course I am rooting for my A-ROD, in the mens (Federer is such a beast though..), and in the ladies, I love Sharapova and Serena Williams (been a fan of SW since she beat Sharapova in the Aussie open I think it was).

I haven't seen any of it yet, but will be watching as much as possible on the weekends. I'd like to see Roddick get out of his funk.

Well James Blake already lost :(
Let's go Roddick!

I have watched Wimbledon every year since the late 70's!

I'm rooting for Andy Roddick...was rooting for James Blake as well.

On the women's side, I guess I'm rooting for Serena Williams although it pains me to say it. I used to not be able to stand either of the William sisters but that was because of their arrogant ass father. I am also a fan of Amelie Mauresmo.

I can't stand Maria Sharapova. Her grunting makes me want to throw something at the tv. She's ridiculous and annoying.

I like Justine Henin a lot on the women's side. She's so tiny but so tough and physical. Her concentration is just phenomenal. I'd like to see Serena hang in there, too. I'm also curious to see how Nicole Vaidisova does. I think she has a lot of talent and could definitely graduate into the "great" category at some point here.

On the men's side... well, it's so hard to beat Federer these days. It'd be fun to see Andy Roddick do it, but realistically I just don't know. I don't think Roddick has the kind of power Federer does at this point and his serve isn't as strong. I do love Nadal-- he's got such a great attitude and plays so hard. Would love to see him stay in it.

WOW!!! Anyone else watch the Federer-Nadal final today? What an amazing, amazing game.

Really, the rivalry between those two and the quality of tennis they're playing is one of the best things going in contemporary sports. I never know who I want them to win because I love them both and admire their play so much.

I caught the first two sets. What amazing tennis! I was hoping Nadal would come through with a victory, but he still has nothing to be ashamed of. He played wonderful tennis (I didn't see the last set where he lost 6-2. Was Roger just that much better or did Nadal kind of break down?).

Even though in my heart Sampras will always be the greatest player and I don't want anyone to break his record, realistically I know it's just a matter of time before Federer breaks it. Over the past year, I have really grown to appreciate Federer's game.

Here's hoping for a rematch at the US Open!

I was watching on and off, but I think Nadal had a couple of break opportunities early in the 5th set, but Roger just would come back w/an awesome ace. Federer just seemed to turn it up a notch whenever he needed it. He's just an amazing player. If he stays healthy, I really don't think anyone (incl Nadal) will be able to beat him much in the next 5 years.
