We didn't know we were going to have one. We thought our table was oging to be flush with the rest of the bridal party, but we were glad it ended up this way, we loved it!!

Basically, we just decorated the table with the bridesmaid bouquets and the sign I had made.

Our photographer did a terrible job of capuring non-portrait pics, so I don't have a picture of our sweetheart table. It consited of a white cloth, candles, a red rose garland, and my red rose bouquet in a wide mouth clear glass vase. Oh, and behind us was the red rose garland and tool decorated arch and red rose pommander (kissing ball) we used as our ceremony backdrop (our ceremony and reception were held in the same outdoor location).

I really thought the sweetheart table was a really great idea. I had 1 MOH and 1 BM and DH had 1 BM, so thought having a head table would look odd with uneven # of people, plus I didn't want the SO's to feel all alone. Anyway, the sweetheart table ended up being really romantic - it allowed us to catch our breath and wisper sweet nothings to each other! We really only sat there during dinner, but I'm SOOO glad we did this!

Here is our sweetheart table. I used a tablecloth that my deceased grandmother had embroidered on it as well as the cake table. Our toasting glasses ahve pewter dragons on them as we went with a celtic theme.

Our sweetheart table will look similar to this...different colors of course but you get the point. The bridal party will be in front of us (we'll be on the top tier). Tim says that way if they get out of control we can throw rolls at them;)
