Hi Ladies,

Hoping someone can help me out - I'm stumped as to where to even start looking! My brother is getting married next month and I'd like to find a really cute tuxedo or fancy romper for my 3 month old son to wear. He'll be wearing 3-6 month size clothing. I don't want to stuff him in a full-blown tuxedo getup (do they even make those?) as it will be July and he'll just be uncomfortable. But I was thinking a onesie with a vest and shorts would be really cute.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Do they rent such outfits anywhere or is there someplace online to buy something?

Thanks so much for any advice!

check ebay.
we went on a cruise last oct, and i didn't want to spend a fortune on a suit/tux.
i found one there for like $25 shipped. brand new.

Strasburg children has some cute dressy baby boy things, and if you look, you can probably find something on sale, since they are a bit pricey!

Before you put the baby in a tux or some sort of formalwear, run it by the bride and groom first. My SIL put her 6 month old in a tux for my wedding, even though the baby wasn't in the wedding. It was very much a "look at me" move on her part.

A pale blue button-on suit or smocked romper (such as from Strasburg Children or Feltman Bros) is always an appropriate look for a little boy.

We dressed DS in a shirt, vest and tux pants for my BF's wedding last year. It was not overkill, and he looked very appropriately dressed. ;) We got the outfit on Ebay for $20.

Search for baptism/christening outfits. fancy, in smaller sizes, yet not too tuxedo-ish.

Janie & Jack usually have nice things.
