Could anyone here please help me to translate the following three sentences from English to Spanish?
This home has safety.
This home has hope.
This home has peace.
Thanks in advance!
Este hogar tiene protección.
Este hogar tiene esperanza.
Este hogar tiene paz.
I'm a professional English-Spanish editor. It could be argued that "safety" is "seguridad", but that's not the correct sense here, unless you mean your home is fire-proof :D, so I'd go with "protección".
If you need the ó code it's ALT+0243

Thank you so much!
Also, maybe this is a dumb question, but what exactly is that box shaped thing? I have never seen that before! (And sadly, despite starting this thread, I seriously HAVE taken Spanish classes before! :o)
Oops, actually I'm from a computer that has some strange encoding, sorry about that. It's showing normally here but I imagine you see some kind of question mark in a box. You were supposed to be seeing a letter "o" with an accent mark, which is what you'd get if you type the code (hold ALT and press 0243 from the number pad) in a regular encoding computer.

LOL!
Actually, it's showing up for me as just a box (no question mark). That's so funny! I'm a little relieved though, because you had me thinking, "Oh crap! What in the hell did I miss in Spanish class back in the day? Did I seriously MISS some obscure letter in the alphabet? What the hell???" I thought for a moment I was perhaps losing my mind! I am relieved it's just our computers!

Also, I just realized, I am probably going to be using this text on Photoshop (as opposed to Word), so who knows what the heck the code is for accents there! :D

I think the accent codes are fairly universal for different applications. Try it on Photoshop and see what happens.
Yep, it should definitely work. If you prefer, you can open Charmap in Windows and paste it from there, but the ALT code is a lot easier IMO. If you're working from a laptop without a number pad you'll probably need to hold the Fn key along with ALT and then find the tiny tiny numbers hidden near the letter k, but it also works.

Hmm, I tried it in both Photoshop AND Word and it didn't work. However, thinking back to all the French classes I took, I remembered holding the Ctrl key, the ' ` ^ etc. key (depending on what accent, etc. was used) and then the letter. Anyway, so it worked that way. I still couldn't figure out how to make it work on Photoshop (though I know there must be a way), but I did thankfully figure out that if I type it in Word, I can copy it and paste it in Photoshop and it will show up okay!

I need quick help with a translation. We have some workers working in our basement and they don't speak much English. It's dinnertime now and I feel bad just letting them work, so dh and I want to offer some stew (it's what we are having for dinner)
So........how do you say "would you like some stew" in Spanish?
TIA!
