I had my hair straightened in May. Long story short, it didn't work and I called the salon to let them know. My stylist couldn't figure out why the service didn't work this time as I've had it done before with excellent results. I am going tomorrow to have it redone and I was not planning on tipping or paying again because I did pay and tip generously for the service less than a month ago.
When I told my friend this, she felt I should give the stylist something, but I feel like this appointment is due to the stylist not doing something correctly with the initial service. I also feel that she was tipped very well less than a month ago for a service that it supposed to last 3-4 months! I think that she should do her best to correct her mistake without me giving her another tip for doing so. Any Thoughts?
Wanted to mention that I am going on Saturday for a cut and color and I do plan to tip and pay for that service as it's regular maintenance and not because something was done incorrectly.
