I would like to send my future FIL a nice gift basket type treat for his birthday. He's got a sweet tooth and unfortunately I ran out of time to bake him and send him one of my usual 'care' packages, so I thought I would ask you all if you can recommend a good site where I could order something delicious for him. (He's in south-west Michigan)

Thank you for any, and all suggestions!

I've always had good luck with Harry & David. Mostly, we order fruit, but it is well packaged, arrives on time and they stand behind it in the event of a problem.

There are a lot of good ideas in the food and drink gift thread (http://www.constantchatter.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20763). :)

Zingerman's. Great baked goods and so close it will be really fresh when it gets to him.

Wolferman's is also good. Great breakfast type items (e.g. muffins, bagels, spreads, coffee).

Cheryl & Co (http://www.cherylandco.com/)- lots of good cookies and dessert-y things. Based in Ohio... not sure if it would get to Michigan more quickly or not.
