Do any of you read TV Gal on Zap2it.com? She is doing a poll about favorite and least favorite moments from the last TV season (called the "Amy Awards"). Some of the questions are really interesting, so I thought I'd post it here, too.

Here are the categories for the 2007 Amy Awards:

1. I was Born at Night but Not Last Night Award (Worst Plot or Storyline)

2. I Really Shouldn't Be Doing This (Best Guilty Pleasure)

3. Excuse Me, I'd Like My Emotional Investment Back (Most Beloved Canceled Show)

4. Kleenex Made a Fortune (Best Tearjerker)

5. I Was Dead For A Couple Of Minutes (Most Shocking Moment)

6. Character You Most Wish You Could Magically Be Rather Than Being Boring Old You (Best Character)

7. You Should Be On Every Week (Best Guest Star)

8. Sorry Addison, but THIS Character Deserves a Spin-Off (Character Most Deserving of a Spin-Off)

9. You Had Me at Hello (Best New Show)

10. You Can Say That Again (Best Quote)

11. How Come It's Not YOU That's Dead? (Worst Character)

Here's the link to the poll if you'd like to vote on Zap2it.com as well: LINK (http://www.zap2it.com/tv/news/tvgal/zap-tvgal-061107-amyawardcategories,0,252176.story?coll=zap-tv-gal-headlines)

1. I was Born at Night but Not Last Night Award (Worst Plot or Storyline)
24. I *hated* it this season.

2. I Really Shouldn't Be Doing This (Best Guilty Pleasure)
The Bachelor

3. Excuse Me, I'd Like My Emotional Investment Back (Most Beloved Canceled Show)
Gilmore Girls

4. Kleenex Made a Fortune (Best Tearjerker)
Gilmore Girls around the time of Richard's heart attack.

5. I Was Dead For A Couple Of Minutes (Most Shocking Moment)
Definitely Lost. Maybe when Ben shoots Locke? Or the end of the finale?

6. Character You Most Wish You Could Magically Be Rather Than Being Boring Old You (Best Character)
They're not "characters, but I'd trade places with Padma Lakshi on Top Chef or Heidi Klum on Project Runway!"

7. You Should Be On Every Week (Best Guest Star)
Will Arnett on 30 Rock

8. Sorry Addison, but THIS Character Deserves a Spin-Off (Character Most Deserving of a Spin-Off)
Cooper on Notes From the Underbelly

9. You Had Me at Hello (Best New Show)
Notes From the Underbelly

10. You Can Say That Again (Best Quote)
Anything by Dwight Schrute (The Office). Maybe this one:
Once I'm officially Regional Manager, my first order of business will be to demote Jim Halpert. So I will need a new number two. My ideal choice? Jack Bauer. But he is unavailable. Fictional. And overqualified.

11. How Come It's Not YOU That's Dead? (Worst Character)
Susan on Desperate Housewives. I would say Nikki and Paulo on Lost, but they actually ARE dead.

1. I was Born at Night but Not Last Night Award (Worst Plot or Storyline)
Every "plot" or "storyline" on this season's 24

2. I Really Shouldn't Be Doing This (Best Guilty Pleasure)
Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?

3. Excuse Me, I'd Like My Emotional Investment Back (Most Beloved Canceled Show)
I'm lucky in that nothing I watched was cancelled.

4. Kleenex Made a Fortune (Best Tearjerker)
On The Office, Pam crying in the hallway after helping Jim and Karen through an argument.

5. I Was Dead For A Couple Of Minutes (Most Shocking Moment)
Once again on The Office when Jim came in and asked Pam out. (Clearly The Office is the only show I was really into this year :p )

6. Character You Most Wish You Could Magically Be Rather Than Being Boring Old You (Best Character)
Well, Pam Beesly leads a pretty boring life, but she does have Jim Halpert, so I pick her :D .

7. You Should Be On Every Week (Best Guest Star)
???

8. Sorry Addison, but THIS Character Deserves a Spin-Off (Character Most Deserving of a Spin-Off)
???

9. You Had Me at Hello (Best New Show)
Didn't really watch any new shows.

10. You Can Say That Again (Best Quote)
Oh jeez, The Office had a million of them. There's a great one in my signature, but I also really liked Dwight's "Whenever I'm about to do something, I think, 'Would an idiot do that?' And if they would, I do not do that thing."

11. How Come It's Not YOU That's Dead? (Worst Character)
This is tough because my knee-jerk reaction is Karen Fillipelli from The Office, but she's not really that bad of a character, she just got in the way of my fave couple. So I'll go with VP Noah Daniels on 24.
