I saw on tv last night on Enertainment Tonight that SJP is launching her clothing/shoe/accessory line....it's called 'Bitten'. Everything is supposed to be around $20. (so it can't be that good of quality) but I'm curious to see all of the line. Has anyone else heard of this and does anyone know where online I can see her clothing line?

I don't know what the website has on it as of right now, but maybe you'll find what you're looking for on it. :) Bitten Website (http://bittensjp.com/)

I read an article in (I think) Glamour magazine where she talked about the line. It's called "Bitten" because of the way people are bitten by the acting bug.

She says the clothes are inexpensive to make style accessible to everyone.

It is sold at Steve & Barry's (http://www.steveandbarrys.com/). I was just there yesterday to check it out. The quality is very poor overall -- thus the low prices -- with lots of unfinished hems, wavy stitching, and thin fabric. The sizing is interesting; a wide variety of sizes are available, but the sizes aren't consistent across the line. I tried on two t-shirts: two mediums and a large. One medium was just right, one was way too big, and the large was too small.

I did end up buying a ($7) t-shirt because I really liked the color. I don't expect it to make it past the end of the summer though.

A line of accessories is available too -- costume jewelry, hair ornaments, and a few bags. Again the quality isn't the greatest, but for something fun for one season, it might be acceptable.

She was on Oprah a few weeks ago with the line. It looked cute but I can't say I am surprised about the quality given the pricing. I like what she is doing though.

I saw her with the clothes on Oprah. I think you could find cuter, better sewn clothes for the same price ranges at Target, Old Navy, or even Wal-Mart! I was highly unimpressed.

Steve & Barry's clothing is very cheap and it shows. I did not see her new line though but based on what I saw in S&B a few weeks ago I would think it would be the same quality.

That's too bad. I was just reading about her clothing line last weekend, and I was excited to see it in person. Sounds like it might not be worth it?

I was excited about it too - apparently she has a shoe line as well. The pair I saw were super cute. :)

Well, the prices look good at least. It might be interesting to just check out the store sometime. However I can certainly find clothes for about the same price at Target.

Well, I bought stuff and loved it.

I was in WI visiting family and went to the S&B and went to town on Bitten. They are perfect one season clothes. Yes, they are not the greatest quality but I don't expect jeans at $15 dollars to be top notch. I would compare it to the quality of Old Navy or Target. I got 2 pairs of perfect fitting jeans (I am curvy so this is a major score), two tops, and 5 necklaces for $65!! I like buying cheap fun jewelry to jazz up boring tshirts and jeans and there was a ton more I could have bought.

Might not be for everyone but I enjoyed it and the concept of not paying an arm and a leg for it.

anymore reviews out there? I want to go check out the line and plan to within the next few days. I was browsing ebay last night just to peek at the clothes and they are cute. I wouldn't buy them on ebay, but I can't believe how much people are asking for them!

i'll pipe in as well. I love everything I saw. I'm really curvy post baby and have the hardest time finding pants that fit me well. The capris I bought fit me perfectly. The sizes are consistent with what I buy everywhere else but they just fit me better. Her purses are adorable as are the shoes. I guess if you're looking to wear it for more than one summer it may not be right for you but being post baby and needing to lose weight, I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for something that won't fit hopefully by the end of summer.

I would really like to check this line out. I am not very trendy, but occassionally I like to have something that is slightly trendy and I hate to spend $ on trends that only last one season, so this sounds perfect!

Just wanted to post an update.

I went and saw the line yesterday and fell in love! I pretty much loved everything I saw!

I bought 8 shirts, a pair of capris, and a pair of shoes for a grand total of $97.83!

I WILL be going back to do some more shopping!

I agree with the previous posters. The line is a mix of everything from little black dresses to jammies and t-shirts. The quality of some of the items was a bit disappointing, but like the others have pointed out, fairly consistent with what you would expect from a 12.99 jacket. The LBD's were adorable and the shoes very cute. There were also some cute bras and panties. The line is extensive and the sizes go from 0-26 (though are not consistent so trying on is a must) so there is something for everyone. Bottom line: a cheap indulgence for some trendy summer flings!
