Well, this guy sure did. In an impressive display of nerd power, he made a portable cat-cam that took a picture of what his kitty was looking at once a minute. He's got four trips recorded and up on his web site. (Also instructions on how to build your own cat-cam, `cause I'm sure we're all going to go out and build one for ourselves! :p )

Strange idea, for sure, but those pictures and captions are too cute! Our cat is not allowed outside.

That's probably `cause it was on boingboing this morning, so the crushing masses of blog-readers overloaded the web server. Maybe it'll pop up again sometime, I'll update if I notice anything.

I found it interesting how much time the cat and his friends seemed to spend under cars. It will certainly make me more likely to check under mine before moving. But it also makes me wonder if the owner is at all worried about his cat. Mine is indoors only, but if she were allowed outside and I realized she was going under cars, there is no way I would let her back out. That's really dangerous!

LOL! DH wants to get Fenway a cat cam. He doesn't go outside, so his picture commentary would go something like this:

-here is Fenway sleeping in the window
-here is Fenway sleeping under the bed
-here is Fenway sleeping in the foyer
-here is Fenway sleeping under the table
-here is Fenway eating
-here is Fenway in the litter box

Fenway, I think you totally understimate the absolute fabulousness of your cats day! I bet he makes long distance phone calls, orders from the home shopping networks and watches kitty-porn online, too ;)
